This is a fraud and a scam app. At first they were the pioneer delivery app in Egypt, now they are nothing but a fraud. Everything that have shaped their name is being changed and taken away now that they are established. Hidden charges all the time are happening, products are incredibly more expensive than if you bought them from the stores themselves. They add extra fees on small orders (Let that sink in). Refund system has also changed and they don't offer a good system anymore on bad product

this app has become a nightmare. worst customer service experience. fraudulent, overpriced and not worth using unless you don't care about your hard earned money.

Update, always pay in cash with these scammers, unless you get what you ordered dont rush and pay, they will cancel your support requests. Worst experience, time and time again they screw up the orders, or ignore your request for a refund, latest accomplishment by them, I received a wrong order and they canceled my order without refunding me and acted like nothing wrong happened, how do you cancel an order if the customer already paid for it and received it. Jesus you guys are garbage.

The pricing on Talabat is very misleading. The same food items are often 2–3 times more expensive than the prices at the restaurant if you dine in or order directly. On top of these inflated menu prices, customers are also charged delivery and service fees. The discounts don't feel like real savings because the menu prices appear to be increased first, and then a discount is applied to make it look like a great deal. In reality, you're still paying much more than the restaurant's actual prices.

The Mark up on Price of food is so high on the app compare to the actual price in restaurants. You are not paying for delivery and service fee u will be also paying the marked up price.

If you don't join their pro subscription the application is practically useless, the prices are more than what the restaurants actually sell for, on top of that you pay a service fee and a sales tax, and if you don't have their pro subscription you also get the delivery fee. The only thing that's good is they sometimes make good offers but they are usually on the pro subscription as well.

Never and ever trust this application anymore. Beware. Very bad service. After long time waiting for order it will get canceled and then you need to wait for one week to get a refund and need to check Your bank. They know how to take your money but they don't know how to refund you fast. Hilghy recommended to start using other apps.

Talabat, are you seriously taking customers for granted? You promised that my AED 70.44refund would be processed within 5–7 days, but it has already been more than 15–20 days. Every time I contact support, I get the same useless response, but nobody actually solves the problem. At this point, it feels like I am being given excuses just to make me wait and forget about my money. How many times am I supposed to contact you for the same refund? The Help Center is useless. It's just endless FAQs with no easy way to contact support. Stop hiding customer support behind articles. I was charged for Talabat Pro without realizing I had subscribed, never used it, and canceling it was unnecessarily difficult. This is a terrible customer experience.

I am unable to locate a direct phone number for customer service, and it appears that customer support services are not readily available. I have encountered difficulties with multiple orders and have been unable to establish contact with a representative. There are no apparent options for communication, including phone calls or live chat, which suggests a complete absence of customer service.

I want human being to talk to me , cancel the robot and the auto reply, it is not useful at all , the customer service is aliar ,no one solve my problem , I didn't receive my money back , or I didn't receive the missing items , you didn't call the the restaurant to check or do anything , lazy customer service. bad app, not trust

after making me wait for one hour and thirty minutes someone from talabat call me and said we cancelled your order the reason is that they lost the delivery guy that was having my order and they can't reach him i understood that on the first time but then it was happening very often and they never wanted to help by fixing the problem instead they give me 15 derhams voucher that does not even cover the delivery charge . the costumer service was awful. i don't recommend this app its a scam

Terrible experience. The delivery time keeps changing constantly, and the agents are completely useless. There is no more compensation for late or cold food delivery. To make matters worse, you are not even allowed to create complaint tickets anymore. Avoid this app.

we have been waiting for 1 hrs for our dinner delivery from b60 restaurant. Talabat just cancelled the order without asking us. so I spoke to the customer service requesting them to not cancel our order instead you take little more time and deliver. Bottom line is they mess the order and its very convenient for them to cancel the order and they don't want to take any effort in reordering the food with new rider and deliver it little late. No action on talabt side. poor customer handling.

Consistently Bad! Stay Away at all costs!! I almost fully relied on Talabat over the past few years for mart & fast food delivery. Recently every single order is a disaster whether: It's very late or cold!! If you order frozen products from Talabat Mart you will receive it melted & ruined. Note: Their Customer Service are useless!

Their support was the best before and it's getting worse everyday.. Pharmacy order with production date of 2023 and expiry after 3 weeks is not worth returning.. The pharmacy called and apologized but Talabat decided no return is required.. No problem save 50 Dirhams and lose a many years client 👍🏼

We discovered a foreign object, specifically a stapler pin, in our food. We promptly reported this issue and provided photographic evidence. We were subsequently asked to resubmit the photo, which we did. Approximately two hours later, we received another call requesting an additional photograph. At that point, we had already disposed of the food. We were then informed that because we were unable to provide a new photo, they could not offer any resolution. This experience was quite disappointing

talabat pro is a joke, after you order they ask you to add 5dhs more worth of stuff to "unlock free delivery" which was 5dhs, I honestly just need one thing and now I have to buy something else for 10 or 20 coz nothing in the menu is 5dhs. the reward points are basically useless too. talabat is basically useless now,all the "sales" and "pro perks" are just tricks to make you think you're saving money. I've honestly just stopped using it now and looking for a better alternative.

Very poor PRO service the charges are almost the same for all food orders, I ordered from KFC not delivered and they took the money and when I called Pro support they said not their business because the rider was from KFC

Unreliable application. Can't cancel my subscription. can't even reach anyone from talabat support team to get help.

Stressful app. it will offer talabat pro trial for free, but it's useless. they will say you'll have discounts and free delivery charges, but actually, prices are high, and they will include delivery charge as well. so what's the point? the subscription will automatically deduct the charge monthly without any good service. and if you want to cancel the subscription, there is no way that you can do it. and your bank account is linked. there is also no way to remove or unlink your card.

I noticed lately that my talabat pro subscription is using the cards I've deleted off the app a while ago. I've been getting charged twice every month since May of this year. Complaining didn't work either, even after canceling the subscription they still charged my older cards 29dhs and when I asked about it, they admitted to continuing the usage of the cards I've already removed from their app. Now after they updated the app, there is no way to contact a real person to follow up my request.

while placing a order today It suddenly glitched and from what I remember it said something along the lines of "transaction failed" but for some reason it also showed that I had placed my order with the payment method being in cash,I immediately panicked as I didn't have cash however when I tried to cancel it said I couldn't as the order has already been placed im still Waiting for the order and searching for cash to pay it due to your Ridiculous glitch,1/5 would never recommend

The ads that pop-up during the payment gateway are very disruptive, please move them to after the payment is done at least. You start to type your information and it cuts in the middle of it. Please look into this as it is starting to get irritating to use the app.

Do no recommend. customer service is non-existent, my orders have been refusing to get placed for a month, and there is no in-app human assistance, only a bot. Customer service only responded after several emails and writing a negative review. Only to simply say "your account is frozen for a terms of service violation", without providing what term was violated, when it was violated, or how long will the freeze remain in effect.

Talabat has the most horrible impolite service in Egypt. i had a humongous issue with a driver that was trying to VIOLATE ME AND THREATEN ME in my apartment and also took videos for me on his phone, stayed at our neighborhood for 3 hours and talabat didnt do anything... and they decided to close the case without even any call from a manager or director. Also i have asked for the drivers ID so i can file a complaint they didnt want to send it to me. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNETHICAL.

Fraud with 70K with my fiancee account and clear breach of data! Zero accountability or resolution as to why! And now my own account was suspended because the fraudster used my number on the other account, they asked I log out and reinstall and now I can't log in with my email, and the phone is treating it as a brand new account with NOONE TO HELP directly! If it's not sorted we're sueing for breach of security.

The riders don't know how to follow traffic rules - I regularly have accidents with the drivers because they are reckless or on their phones. Delivery is overpriced and customer service is lying.. No thank you. Edit: It has been a week since I have been in touch with Talabat to resolve the issue of their driver damaging my car. NOTHING has happened apart from several phone calls and empty apologies. Customer service is disrespectful and lies to my face. TERRIBLE
