Is Novelmates-Stories&Novels a scam?
Based on the recent reviews shown here, Novelmates-Stories&Novels has serious trust issues. Reviewers repeatedly describe it as a scam or fraud because of unexpected deductions, charges after uninstalling, subscriptions they say they did not authorize, and refund problems. There are some positive comments about the stories, but the billing complaints are specific and severe enough that a prospective user should treat the app as high-risk.
WARNING!!!!!!! PLEASE DO NOT INSTALL THIS APP. This is a FRAUD/SCAM. even if unauthorized charge they will not offer a full refund only 50%. I already have this uninstalled, not using it for like a few months then suddenly I have an unauthorized charge and it's even not showing on the app that I'm not subscribed or on auto debit. But because I have a few stories on my library they can't have it refunded full price. That's insane. DON'T INSTALL THIS APP. YOU WILL JUST REGRET THIS A LOT. RATE 0.
DO NOT INSTALL THIS APP!! This is a total fraud/scam! I no longer use the app for months (didn't even log in nor linked my gcash account to the app) but they charged me for 557.86 PESOS! They didn't even clarify it when you install the app to confuse you! What's worse is, it is through auto-debit, so it suddenly deducts to your bank account.
This app has unauthorised transactions even after using their application or even when subscription has ended they will then access your gcash and the payment will be automatically deducted. This app feels like a scam! Lot of people can vouch for this. DO NOT INSTALL THIS APP AT ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. This app is also NOT user-friendly ❌️, maybe they did this to continue the transactions without your knowledge. I hope this will be banned.

Is Novelmates-Stories&Novels really free to read?
The app is listed as free to install, and the description mentions subscriptions. Reviews suggest that does not mean unlimited free reading. Some users say chapters can be continued by watching ads or using points, while others say the app quickly pushes payment or a subscription and does not let them keep reading for free. If you install it, expect free access to be limited and inconsistent based on these reviews.
thought it was free to read a story...not so much...uninstall
Chapters are free but after a certain amount of chapters you will have to watch an ad to get to the next chapter if you don't use your points. The stories are good and it's hard to stop reading.
not free. as soon as you get hooked into a story, it demands you buy the subscription one way or another.

Does Novelmates-Stories&Novels charge you after uninstalling or deleting the app?
Reviewers often say uninstalling, deleting the account, or not using the app did not stop charges. Several describe money being deducted months later, sometimes while the app was no longer installed. The reviews do not support assuming that uninstalling Novelmates-Stories&Novels is enough to stop billing.
THE APP IS JUST CHARGING ME MONEY EVEN THOUGH I ALREADY DELETED THE APP. FIX THIS OR BE REPORTED!!! SCAM APP!!
This app took an auto payment from my cash app, please refund. it's been a year since I uninstalled this and it keeps getting money from my account. Please refund immediately.
I was charged today without my knowledge, even though the app has already been uninstalled from my phone. THIS IS A SCAM APP. DO NOT INSTALL!

How hard is it to cancel a Novelmates-Stories&Novels subscription?
The reviews suggest cancellation can be difficult or unreliable. Users say cancellation links do not work, the app does not appear in Google Play subscriptions, and charges continue after they believe they canceled. The reviews here do not provide a dependable step-by-step cancellation method.
Cannot unsubscribe from their service and good luck getting the refund. Support does not reply.
I canceled my "subscription" a week ago and they just took more money out of my account! This app doesn't even show up in your subscriptions to cancel payment! Apparently they like to steal money even after you've canceled! 100% don't download this app or subscribe
dont Subscribe to this app. their cancel subscription dont work. they will keep charging you. its a scam app. Google need to take this app off their system.

Can you get a refund from Novelmates-Stories&Novels?
Refund reports are mostly negative. Reviewers say support does not reply, refunds are refused, or only a partial refund is offered after an unauthorized or unwanted charge. The reviews do not show a reliable refund process for users who were billed unexpectedly.
I don't like this app, I accidentally purchased 😫 and then I beg to refund my money from them but they don't allow it, so Don't ever download this app if I were you
DON'T INSTALL. You won't get a full refund even if you don't use their app for 3 months. They didn't even notify me before the auto-renewal. The live service does not really respond after they gave the 50% refund. Why 50% refund only? When I don't even use the app anymore. Terrible app.
The app actually deducted some money to my Gcash account even though I've already uninstalled it a few months ago. Now that I'm requesting a refund, THEY'RE REFUSING TO GIVE REFUND FROM MY ACCOUNT. SHOULD REPORT THIS APP TO BE TAKEN DOWN. They keep ignoring my messages and refusing to comply.

Are the stories on Novelmates-Stories&Novels good?
Story quality gets some genuine praise. Positive reviewers call the stories good, addictive, and worth reading. However, some negative reviewers say the app is not worth it or criticize the stories, and many content-positive comments are still paired with complaints about subscriptions or unlocking chapters.
I really appreciate the stories. I like that I can read the whole book, there's some ads but what app doesn't have ads... Anyways it's worth the download!
Chapters are free but after a certain amount of chapters you will have to watch an ad to get to the next chapter if you don't use your points. The stories are good and it's hard to stop reading.
Not worth it. Ugly stories and they keep auto purchased it even if you cancel ur subscription and even if you uninstall it they will find a way to make you pay.

Does Novelmates-Stories&Novels have too many ads?
Ads are a common part of the reading experience in the reviews. One positive reviewer says watching ads can unlock later chapters, while a negative reviewer describes ads interrupting the story very frequently. Other reviewers say the ad option does not always replace payment or subscription demands, so the ad experience appears frustrating for some users.
downloaded what I thought was interesting story only to find sooooo many ads paragraph ad paragraph ad. nope.
Chapters are free but after a certain amount of chapters you will have to watch an ad to get to the next chapter if you don't use your points. The stories are good and it's hard to stop reading.
This app is a scam. It states that it's free reading but you have to have a subscription to read the books. You can't even watch ads to unlock the chapters. I'm definitely deleting this app off of my phone.

Are Novelmates-Stories&Novels coins, points, and chapter unlocks clear?
Reviews suggest the unlock system is confusing. Users mention points, coins, rewards, ads, subscriptions, and VIP, but they do not describe a clear or reliable path to continue reading. One reviewer says rewards are unclear, another says they are trying to get extra coins, and others say payment is required once they are hooked on a story.
I'm just tryna get some extra coins so I can read this story. the stories are addicting but it's always difficult to cancel these subscriptions.
requires payment or subscription to read chapters. no option to watch ads instead. has rewards system but unclear how that can be used towards unlocking chapters.
love the story but would love a easy or cheaper way to get rest of the chapter to read eg watch videos or wait a few hours and next chapter unlock s

Does Novelmates-Stories&Novels VIP or subscription activate correctly after payment?
Some reviewers report payment and VIP activation problems. Complaints include being charged twice without the subscription activating, payment attempts failing with an insufficient-funds message, and deductions happening while the user still is not marked as premium. These reviews suggest paid access may not activate reliably for everyone.
I paid for subscription, they charged my card twice, but never activated my subscription. can't find where to get help either
unable to make a payment. I've tried to pay a couple different ways. there's plenty of money there but it keeps giving me an insufficient funds error so, tried to give you my money...
Beware! Do not download this scam app. I subscribed once, but I cannot unsubscribe anymore. I checked my google playstore for my subcriptions but Novelmates wasn't on my list of subscription. However, it still deducts money on my e-wallet everyday. Checking the app, they only take my money but still not a premium user.

Is Novelmates-Stories&Novels expensive compared with other ways to read?
Some reviewers consider it too expensive, especially when a single book requires ongoing payment, VIP, coins, or repeated unlocks. The reviews do not give a complete official price list, but they do include complaints about weekly charges and the cost of finishing chapters.
To expensive to be worth it. Can end up paying 100 bucks just for a single book that'd be free on Amazon Kindle
DO NOT DOWNLOAD ANY NOVEL APPS FROM HK INDUSTRIES. HK Industries continues to charge you even after account deletion and the links to cancel do not work. FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD. 14.99 a week and they don't allow you to freaking cancel.
love the story but would love a easy or cheaper way to get rest of the chapter to read eg watch videos or wait a few hours and next chapter unlock s
