It was a good app, but lately it's been bombarding me with ads. It stops abruptly with an ad page. Uninstalled. Edit: Promoting premium for an ad-free experience is quite common, but adding unskippable ads with misleading close buttons that redirect users to unintended unsolicited pages shows another level of greed from developers.
Just so simple, has ads but minimally positioned so it doesnt interrupt your streaming.

Well, after using it for a few years with excellent results, for the last couple of months, after starting it up, it stops after 5 minutes. The same as other users... driving a car, it's not a good idea to go for the phone to restart it. The phone is a Samsung Android 16 UI 8.5. s25 Update: The app, even when not running in the background, drains the battery; it needs to be force-stopped or have background permissions removed. It needs to be patched

The message I received was: "This station does not want to be part of Simple Radio" I also couldn't find other local stations such that I typically listen to, such as 1050 am - San Francisco, CA. And searching for other local stations is hard. It's not sorted in any ascending order AM stations mixed with FM.

That app helps me a lot, I can listen radios from Ireland. And have radios from everywhere. you can favourite your best radios.
Really simple. Not cluttered with configurations settings etc. very seldom used. Simple Radio gets connected promptly and is straightforward less hassle. Friendly for the non nerds and non tech savvy.

I don't trust this app. I have had it less than a week. Last usage was on a Friday, I shut it down, phone had also been shut off at night. Two days later, on a sunday it drained 33% percent of my battery. I had never turned it on, I check my running apps and it wasn't one of them. So it was running in the background. I tried to force stop it, no luck. So I uninstalled it. Do not trust this app!!
