Why can't I log in to Priority Pass™?
Recent reviews repeatedly describe login as the app’s biggest practical problem. Users report being logged out, receiving email codes too late, the app resetting when they switch to email, biometric login not staying enabled, and valid usernames or passwords being rejected. Several reviewers say this happens at the worst time: while trying to enter a lounge.
The reviews do not give a reliable universal fix. Some users say the website works while the app does not, and one reviewer says using the plastic card is easier than relying on the app when the emailed code flow times out.
When you enter your Log-in information, the app will e-mail you a One Time Password. And when you switch to your e-mail app to get the password, your Priority Pass app will refresh requiring that they send you another Password, essentially making it impossible to access your Member QR code that gets you into Lounges. It's totally feasible to assume that they want it this way, that making access difficult allows them to cut down on the number of guests in Lounges. Outrageous & insulting.
Been a member for over a year and the phone app, randomly logs off, then won't accept either the username or password when at the counter. when it does log in, always wants to send an email with an additional code that takes so long to arrive the phone & app have timed out, entering a typo that you can't undo, requiring another additional code and then waiting for it again. Honestly, simply a lousy app for casual travelers, it's infinitely easier to just use the plastic.
When I could use it, good app. I've been logged out and can't get in despite having my username and password and entering the code they email. It shouldn't be this hard to get into an app when I have all my info. Beyond ridiculous. I'm logged in online so I know the login works.

Why won't Priority Pass™ recognize my Amex, Chase, or credit card membership?
Several reviewers say the app did not recognize a membership connected to a credit card. One Amex user says they needed the newer Priority Pass+ app instead, while another Chase user says the activation flow sent them back to a “Download Our App” page even though they were already using the app. The reviews suggest that credit-card-linked memberships can be confusing to activate, and the app may not clearly tell users which app or flow applies to them.
unable to recognize my membership number from Amex but that's because you need their new Priority Pass+ App (which works perfectly)! please warn users on the sign in page to download the correct app.
Just sends me to the "Download Our App" page when I try to activate my account with my membership number that I got from Chase. I am already in the app. How is that even an option if you've already downloaded the app? Why can't I activate my account? Terrible app.
The app is a pain to activate. You only have 30 secs to key in an emailed code which, by the time you get it, leaves you with just 15 secs. And even when you are able to key in the correct code, it gives you an error msg. I tried it 3 times and I couldn't get it to work. The other pain point is trying to join via a credit card's privileged access.

Does the Priority Pass™ digital membership card or QR code work reliably?
The app description says Priority Pass™ supports contactless entry with a Digital Membership Card, but recent reviews show that users do not all find it reliable. Complaints include not being able to see card details, not being able to access the QR code because of login or OTP problems, and the membership card failing when needed. One reviewer specifically asks for Google Wallet support.
If you depend on the app at the lounge entrance, the reviews suggest the digital card can be a weak point, especially when the app has logged you out or the code flow fails.
Membership card in the app does not work when you actually need it
Not receiving the OTP code thru email. Cannot get my account number nor the qr code to get access to the lounge. What a waste of time at the airport.
Useful but unreliable. Takes a long time to load and sometimes login resets while waiting for one time password. Please add an option to add card to Google wallet.

Will Priority Pass™ actually get me into airport lounges?
Reviews are mixed. Some users say the app is easy to use and grants lounge access, and others describe enjoying lounges during travel. But a noticeable set of recent reviews says lounges were full, overrun, outdated in the app, or denied entry despite being shown as available. The app may help find lounge information, but the reviews do not support assuming that every listed lounge will admit you when you arrive.
easy to use and grant access to the lounge
has outdated information on longues and accessibility. feels pretty bad being turned away from longues featured in the app because they refuse to update it.
The place must be nice if you can get in. It is overbooked and overun. Perhaps next time. Until then poor rating if you cannot even get in. Italy and Delhi overrun.

Is the Priority Pass™ app easy to use when it works?
Yes, some reviewers find the app useful and straightforward when they can get into it. Positive reviews mention easy navigation, good lounge information, and checking available lounges before travel. That praise sits alongside many complaints about login, speed, and reliability, so the app’s usefulness appears to depend heavily on whether the account and authentication flow work for you.
Very handy and easy to use app. Tells you everything you need to know
easy to navigate. good information on the available lounges. usually will check that before i travel.
The Priority Pass app is very useful. I was enjoying Executive Class Lounges every where I went for the last two years.

Why can't I update card or payment details in Priority Pass™?
Recent reviews describe a specific card-update bug: the app asks users to update payment or card details, but the card type field cannot be selected or required fields do not match the card format. Some reviewers say this blocks lounge access or leaves them unable to complete the update.
unable to update payment details cause cant choose card type and cannot enter lounge. what a bad experience!
app keeps telling me to update card details but I'm unable to select card type during input. please fix this bug or feature that isn't working properly so users can use the app
asks to update expired card and card type field is mandatory however it is disabled. well developed and well tested.

Is Priority Pass™ slow, crashing, or hanging?
Some reviewers report performance problems beyond login. Complaints include the app hanging on lounge pages, getting stuck on the splash screen, crashing for weeks, taking a long time to load, and being painfully slow right when users need to show the card at a lounge entrance.
very very slow - this app is used while entering a lounge, which often means there is a lineup of people behind you. so just when you need a responsive app, you get a painfully slow experience. waiting and waiting for the card to load while people behind you get mad. it is not hard to make a fast app these days. let's get this fixed!!!
When clicking on any lounge the app just hangs which makes it useless.
app keeps crashing from 1 month even with updates

Can you book or prebook lounges in the Priority Pass™ app?
The reviews do not show a smooth booking experience. Reviewers say booking a lounge is hard to find, form fields can fail, a flight-time keyboard may not appear, and prebooking attempts can show lounges as fully booked. The evidence supports caution if you need the app specifically for booking rather than just finding lounge information.
Terrible illogocal unuserfriendly useless app. Wouldn't know where to begin yet booking a lounge seems to be almost impossible on this app if you can even figure out where and what to click to book a lounge. just terrible.
Got access for free through my Amex. So far, seems pretty limited on access to lounges. DragonPass looks better. 🤷🏼 Dropping a star a day. Tried to book a lounge, asks for time of flight, can't enter tine as keyboard doesn't show. ergo, unable to book said lounge. Useless.
can't prebook every lounge I tried fully booked (highly unlikely)

Is Priority Pass™ hard to cancel or get support from?
A small set of recent reviews raises trust concerns around support and cancellation. One reviewer says they requested cancellation before renewal but were still charged, and others describe rude service, no easy phone contact, unanswered support calls, or unusable help forms with repeated verification. These reviews do not prove every cancellation will fail, but they are serious enough to consider before paying directly.
Impossible to cancel I requested to cancel the renewal of my subscription over a month before it was due for renewal. I received an acknowledgement of my request informing me that it was being processed. However, I have just been charged for another year's service, billed four weeks before my current year had expired. The app and service are great, but the difficulty in cancelling is giving con artist.
Customer service is very rude.
always a problem and never easy to contact..?? no phone numbers listed in Google?

Is Priority Pass™ worth paying for, or do users call it a scam?
The reviews are sharply split. Positive reviewers describe useful lounge benefits, but negative reviewers use strong language such as “scam,” “money grab,” “paid for nothing,” and “useless,” mainly because of lounge denials, guest fees, login failures, or cancellation problems. The reviews do not establish that Priority Pass™ is legally a scam, but they do show that some users feel the service is not worth paying for when access or app reliability fails.
memberships is an absolute scam. 99% of advertised lounges will deny entry
A complete bait-and-switch and a massive money grab. Priority Pass has become completely useless for anyone traveling with a family or a group. They yanked the complimentary guest access that used to come with premium travel cards, and now demand an outrageous $35 per guest just to walk in the door. The most ridiculous part? Even if you pay $400+ for their highest-tier retail membership directly, they still charge you $35 for every single guest. It is a completely greedy, nickel-and-dime system
2FA doesn't work, no access.. paid for nothing.. we used to show credit card that always worked..
