Why does Del Taco - Del Yeah! Rewards keep saying there is no internet connection?

The pop up doesn't end even after swiping out of the app and doing other things on your phone. The only way to get it to stop is by force closing it.

when I click order, it goes to the select location screen. However, it never fully loads. it just says loading and doesnt do anything else. Basically useless.
