Is the McDonald's app a scam?

Since around late July 2026 a very large number of reviewers report the app hanging on a white screen with the golden-arches logo and never loading. The only workaround people report is uninstalling and reinstalling, which often fixes it only temporarily, and some say waiting a day helped. It affects capable, modern phones, so it is a server or app problem, not your device.
Yeah, not awesome AT ALL. Can't even get to the link you've posted. White background and golden arches logo...for days. AWFUL! FIX THE APP! Since update, I can't log in. I've uninstalled and reinstalled 3x... nothing.

Why can't I log into the McDonald's app, and why does it keep asking me to sign up?

As of August 3rd, 2026, I am, once again, having issues! The app logged me out, and now i can't log back in. the app gives me the same issues as I was previously having. where it just keeps wanting me to sign up when I already have an account. it's ridiculous!!! im just always having issues. took them months for me to be able to log back in but now its just constantly glitching. the app freezes on me all the time. now it wont let me touch anything. its frozen Just fix the app please.

What happens to my McDonald's points if I lose access or they expire?

Why can't I use McDonald's app deals unless I'm near the restaurant?

McDonald's charged me for an order from a closed store, how do I get a refund?
