Is the Express Scripts app not working after the latest update?
Many recent negative reviews say the Express Scripts app became buggy after updates. Reported problems include freezing, spinning without loading, locking up after using a feature, and needing to close and restart the app. A few positive reviews still say it is easy and convenient, so the experience appears to depend heavily on device, account, and the current app version.
After the last update this app won't load. It just spins and then freezes. I tried stopping it forcibly and reinitiating. No luck. I tried reinstalling. Still no luck.
Latest version 14 (a forced update) now locks up after checking prescription coverage! The previous one worked fine. Now more difficult to navigate and buggy. Have to close the app and restart it for each prescription I want to check. Ugh!
The app is frustrating when you can get it to work. it consistently freezes when using one of the Account links, like Payment History, after reviewing an invoice and backing to the main Account Screen, the app freezes and no links work, and you end up closing the app and having to log back in again. setting up the PayPal every time I had to get a code it closed the page the code was to be entered in and you would have to request the code again, and again, and again, until I used split screen.

Why can’t I log in to the Express Scripts app?
Login is one of the clearest recurring complaints in the reviews. Users describe being sent back to the sign-in screen, getting stuck after entering a verification code, being told their correct password is wrong, or being unable to access a Tricare-connected account. If you rely on the app for prescriptions, the reviews suggest keeping the website or phone support available as a backup.
Login loop. Perpetual login loop. Enter password, enter 2nd verification code. kicks you back out to start all over
I used to love this app, but now it won't let me log into my Tricare connected account. It used to be easy-peasy.
App always gets on a loop when logging in. I constantly have to put my password in multiple times. Great when you are able to login once.

Is the Express Scripts app compatible with my phone or tablet?
Recent reviews raise a serious compatibility concern. Several users say the app worked before but then became incompatible with their phone or tablet after an update, sometimes leaving them unable to install, update, or open it. Other users still report using it successfully, so compatibility may vary by device and app version.
I love the convenience this app gives me. EDIT: I have used this app for years, now, suddenly, my device is not compatible with this version and have been forced to delete it, with no replacement available. I have downgraded my review to 1 star as I am no longer able to access my account through the app. Glad I can still get there online.
I'm told your app doesn't work for my phone. It did last month, why not now?
Can no longer open on my tablet that is used only for medical apps.

Should I use the Express Scripts website instead of the app?
Some reviewers explicitly say the website or mobile site is the better fallback. Complaints say the app may redirect to a web page, open in Chrome, or show different information than customer service. One reviewer who lost app access said they could still get online, while another said it was better to just use the website.
Awful app. Not accurate and doesn't show current info. Better to just use the website.
Just use the mobile site. Clicking a link in an SMS or email will open the mobile site, not the app (clearly devs don't test or update). Not specific to the app, but I have the "paperless" option selected from the website and there's not been a single delivery without a stack of papers over the last 5 years and related to that: if you open the app directly (since links don't work) there is a message to select paperless and the toggle appears off and the toggle is not clickable. Frustrating app.
I downloaded and it says opening in chrome????? never does anything after that

Can I order or refill prescriptions in the Express Scripts app?
Yes, some reviewers say they can order on the app, refill prescriptions, and get medications delivered. But other reviewers say the refill button disappeared, expired prescriptions are hard to handle, or they cannot find how to order medications after the redesign. The app’s own description says refill and order-status features may not be available for all plans or benefit types.
Quick and easy to use to check on medications and place orders.
Easy! Order on app. Delivered to my mailbox.
request refill button not showing with most recent update. ability to have a separate address (not just temporary) for a plan participant should be a feature.

Is the Express Scripts app easy to use?
Reviews are split. Positive reviews call the app quick, efficient, and convenient for checking medications and ordering. Negative reviews after the newer update describe it as confusing, hard to navigate, cluttered, difficult to read, or especially complicated for seniors. If ease of use is your deciding factor, the recent review trend is mixed rather than uniformly positive.
App is very efficient and easy to use. Like the convenience of having my medication delivered to my home.
this app is extremely confusing I have no idea how to order my meds or even see my prescription list anymore of what I'm taking I'm really thinking about going back to my old pharmacy they were clear about when things were ready
I don't know how to log in it's too complicated. For seniors

Does the Express Scripts app show accurate prescription and billing information?
Some reviewers use the app to track prescriptions, but the negative reviews raise trust issues around account details. Complaints mention outdated or inconsistent information, old prescriptions remaining in the list, balance details without enough explanation, and app information not matching what customer service sees.
watch out. the app will have one set of information but if you call customer service they see a different set of information. they also mail you a statement but again their customer service representative sees something else on their screen.
Still works on my phone (for now?), but this version has been dumbed down and oversimplified too much. Says I have a balance due, but gives no info on which prescription it is for (I have several). Gets confused between old and new prescriptions, tells me it's too soon to reorder when the old one expired and is being replaced by a new one. App used to be pretty good, but now I never know if I'll be able to order my meds and get them in time or which one I am being billed for.
App is confusing and and hard to navigate. It holds on to old prescriptions which are out of date and adds to every ending list of drugs rather than just giving you your current prescriptions I hate this app but what I'm I just another dissatisfied subscriber.

Does Express Scripts deliver medications on time?
Positive reviewers praise home delivery and say medication arrives on time or in the mailbox. However, at least one negative review says shipments are slow and delivery notifications come much later than delivery. The reviews support that delivery can be convenient, but they do not prove it is reliable for every user or medication.
Medication always arrives on time and the app is easy to use.
Easy! Order on app. Delivered to my mailbox.
if you're like me you probably have no choice but to use this garbage app/service, but if you have a choice, RUN. optum is a thousand times easier to use, scripts are shipped faster, and I'm notified when my time sensitive/temp sensitive packages are delivered. express scripts is slow, the app is not user friendly, and I get notice over 12 hours AFTER my scripts are delivered. also not allowed to set up any of my scripts for auto refill with express scripts. 0/10 experience. don't recommend

Can I manage auto refill, autopay, PayPal, or paperless settings in Express Scripts?
Reviews mention these account features, but mostly in the context of problems. One reviewer liked starting automatic refills, while others say they could not set up scripts for auto refill, had trouble changing autopay, struggled with PayPal verification, or could not toggle paperless settings in the app.
great way to keep track of my prescriptions, i just started to schedule automatic refills its nice to relay on others foe what i might foeget one day 😅
This last update made the app harder to use. I'm having issues changing the autopay option and removing the "EPP" card. It also takes longer to load and the lettering looks zoomed... the previous app was much better.
