Why does Poweramp lose or fail to load my album art?

I opened the app for the first time, it switches to some text pop up about a trial then closes. It's completely unusable. just make it a buyable app, since it can't even be purchased within app. useless.

On my Android Phone it's asking me to pay again to purchase Full Version -- 3x the price. Please help.
