Is Anghami: Play music & Podcasts free, or do you have to subscribe?
The Play Store listing describes Anghami as free, with paid Plus plans for features like downloads, offline listening, and no ads. Reviews are mixed: some users still say they enjoy free music, while others say the free plan has become too limited or that subscription prompts stop them from playing songs.
A cautious reading is that Anghami can be tried for free, but people who expect full song choice and fewer interruptions without subscribing may be disappointed.
it's too much useful and you can enjoy free music 🎵
apparently, it has become a completely paid app that you can not listen to music in without subscribing. ok,I guess it is not for me anymore
I don't know what happened... Suddenly some of my playlists disappeared... and I can no longer listen to any songs for free... When I play any song, a subscription message appears... What happened?

How bad are ads in Anghami: Play music & Podcasts?
Ads are one of the sharpest complaints in the reviews. Users describe having to watch an advert, hearing ads between songs, and being served sponsored songs they do not want. The Play Store description says Anghami Plus removes ads, so ad complaints mainly matter if you plan to use the free version.
The most negative reviews describe the ad experience as interruptive rather than just occasional.
If you want to turn off the app, you are forced to watch an advert from the beginning till the very end. Otherwise it will keep on working in the background and if you pressed play any song it will keep on playing too. I am gonna uninstall the app.
don't use walahi the worst app on earth , i listen to rap for example the sequence is as follows 1)add before the first song 2) your song 3) completely useless sponsored song that you hate you can skip after about 19 seconds 4)add because you skipped the sponsored useless song 5)your song and then the process repeat I'm sure this app is a joke now
The app is not free and doesn't have many songs. It's a failed app and filled with far too many ads.

Can you choose the exact songs you want on Anghami: Play music & Podcasts free?
Several reviewers say the free experience does not reliably let them play exactly what they choose. Complaints mention Anghami playing what the app wants, forcing a specific singer or sponsored track, and ignoring “not interested” feedback.
This does not mean every listener has the same experience, but reviews raise a clear warning for anyone who wants full on-demand control without paying.
so, a bad experience, if you don't pay you will listen to what application want
This app is bad and forces you to listen to a specific singer; this is unprofessional and disrespectful.
It became frustrating to hear Tamer Hosny new song "Aal Fakerny" each and every time I want to listen to songs even if its rap, pop, international or even metal. I understand that it is sponsored, but I don't have the plus version to avoid ads so you play them to me as "a song that you may like to hear" I don't want to hear it and it should be obvious because of how many times I pressed on not interested every time it starts.
