In the middle of a song it stops and all of the sudden a Chik-fil-a commercial played. I had to hit the play button to start the music again. This started happening every few songs. Not between songs, during songs. I hope the creators will realize the mistake of doing this and change course removing it. Update: 8/12/26 switched to Musicolet, free and no ads.

I've used Pi for years and i would suggest it to anyone. i don't stream music. i believe in showing my appreciation for artists by buying their art, so i own all of my music. i really love that when you choose random, Pi makes a playlist, so you can rewind and forward through, and it doesn't ever play the same song over and over. lots to love about the app!

My husband and I have used this app for years, and it has always been great... until now. I don't know what changed, but now, every 5 seconds an ad pops up and loudly stops whatever song is playing. The only way to get back to the song is to physically push the play button again, which is dangerous while driving, making this app unusable in its current state. It's incredibly frustrating, and I wish they would rethink the spoken voice ads. Disappointing.

Update 8/8/26: Not a fan of the ads in the middle of my music... Prev: Worked great up until recently. Keeps closing at random times and/or stopping my music at various intervals... It's kind of creepy to have your music randomly stop in the middle of the night! Please fix this? Edit: Not sure what fixed the issue, but it started working fine again out of no where. I've used this app forever so I was really glad to see it up and running again! (:
