Is FaceLab a scam?
FaceLab is a real photo-editing app from an established studio and it does produce aging and hairstyle previews. However, many recent reviewers use the word scam, almost always about billing: they report being charged around $50 for a subscription they say they could not cancel, sometimes after only briefly trying the app, and describe the in-app cancel option as broken.
Got this to be amused for a moment, then, AFTER AND ONLY AFTER, do you find out they are gonna automatically charge you 50 dollars with no ability to cancel. There is a tab for it but go figure, it doesn't work! This is a scam. Do Not Download!

Is FaceLab legit?
The app itself works, but recent reviews are dominated by complaints about predatory billing rather than the editing. Reviewers report repeated weekly charges after a trial, charges continuing after the app was deleted, and having to involve their bank to stop payments. Treat sign-up with caution and manage the subscription through Google Play, not the app.
no way to unsubscribe or not be charged. was charged 2x in 5 days. this is a scam app. don't trust it!

Is FaceLab free?
Not in practice. Reviewers say you typically get one free option per feature and that almost everything else, hairstyles, edits, removing the watermark, requires a premium subscription that several reviewers put at around $10 a week. Many say the free version is close to unusable and that the listing's free framing is misleading.
NOT FREE. don't say it's free if it's not

How do I cancel my FaceLab subscription?
Reviewers repeatedly say there is no working cancel option inside the app and that emailing the developer did not stop the charges. The reliable route is to cancel the subscription directly in the Google Play Store under Payments and subscriptions; several reviewers who could not stop billing that way say they had to contact their bank.
You cannot cancel. They will continuesly charge you $10. I've emailed them numerous times to cancel but they charge me every week. Ive been charged 3 times now. I've also deleted the app. I will now have to get my bank involved.

Why does FaceLab keep charging me after the free trial?
Reviewers describe the trial converting automatically to a paid subscription, with charges then recurring, sometimes multiple times within days, and continuing even after uninstalling the app. Some say they were charged despite believing they had cancelled or never having knowingly subscribed. Cancel in Google Play well before the trial ends if you try it.
the app is minimal at best, but they won't end your subscription after the 3day trial, they keep withdrawing funds!! DO NOT TRUST THIS APP!! I called my bank to put a stop payment on them!

Why are there so many ads in FaceLab?
Reviewers of the free version report an ad after almost every action, sometimes several for a single edit, and a few describe inappropriate or sexual AI-generated video ads with no skip option. The subscription is pitched as the way to remove them.
dont dowload, waste of time. too much ads

Does FaceLab produce realistic results?
Opinions are mixed. Some reviewers are happy with the aging and hairstyle previews, while others say results do not look realistic, that it behaves like a basic filter app, and that free alternatives such as Snapchat do a better job. Several also note limited hairstyle options for non-white users.
Did like some of the filters, did not look realistic, didn't give realistic results
