Why can't I log in to Xiaomi Home?

Working fine previously, had to reinstall and now the login process is ridiculous. After entering the user and password, a verification image is sent to enter the code (so small it takes a magnifying glass to read it), if you eventually get pass that, an email code is sent, which after entering it then completely failed with 'Sign In Problem' message.. seriously whoever did this revised flow should be shot !! now can't log in and update the devices I have..

latest updated got notif "Due to regional policy adjustments, the non-Chinese mainland version of Xiaomi Home will no longer provide services on the Chinese mainland. Instead, users in this region can download and use the Chinese mainland version of Xiaomi Home." Extremely disappointed! I bought this product from a distributor, but now it is completely useless in my region due to policy/region locking changes. Waste of money.
1 less star because it can only handle either China's or International Xiaomi devices. Not both! As an early adopter, this is very disappointing..

The Xiaomi Home WiFi Extender AC1200 connection process is so stagnant, I might as well just look at a wall for 1 day instead of fixing this WiFi Extender. After doing the connection, facing the floor most of the time, I finally got it to connect, the experience is what you get for a cheap WiFi Extender, but on a community-focused, premium quality company. My loyalty is saved, yes, I just hope I'll never experience the same pain-staking process again.

latest version, vacuum position while working is not updated on the map. it appear stay in charging dock, although vacuum is working across all the rooms.
I admit the app itself is much more stable than years back. Yesterday my vacuum destroyed the map. It also destroyed the back-up map. Took me a day to make it right with all the room separations, tall mirrors and no-go zones. Now I can only screenshot my past efforts from cleanup history and spend another day remapping it... How many years do you need to fix it?

excellent app works seamlessly i wish its integration with Amazon alexa devices can announce motion detection by the camera and also it still requires arm or disarm option for smart cameras to help trigger alarm at night or specific time set
