Is Heart Rate Monitor - HeartIn a scam?
Reviews raise this concern directly. Users repeatedly describe the app as a scam, fraud, ripoff, or predatory, mainly because they say it presents itself as free, takes a measurement, and then blocks the result behind a payment or subscription prompt. That does not prove legal fraud, but it is a strong trust warning for anyone expecting a simple free heart-rate checker.
absolutely a scam. worst app ive ever used. I hope it gets taken down
This was supposed to be HP reading heart rate oxygen & all. It's a total fraud; SO SAD!
can buy a bp monitor with half the money of your weekly subscription. Scam. dont install this app.

Is Heart Rate Monitor - HeartIn free to use?
The Play Store listing says the app is free, but reviews strongly suggest that “free” means free to download, not free to use fully. Reviewers say basic results and useful features are blocked unless they upgrade, start a trial, or subscribe. If you need a no-cost heart-rate reading, the reviews suggest this app is likely to frustrate you.
shittiest app ever, nothing is free, tells you to test you pulse then when you finish "pay to show results !"
says completely free in description but then after you download it, you have to upgrade to get the results. uninstalling it now
You can't do anything without paying. Downloaded this app concerned about how I was feeling only to be hit with paywalls immediately. Predatory

How much does Heart Rate Monitor - HeartIn cost?
The app information here lists the download price as free, but reviews report paid subscriptions and trial prompts. Reviewers quote different amounts, including weekly prices in dollars and rupees, so the exact offer may vary by user, country, or time. Before starting a trial, check the subscription screen and your Google Play purchase confirmation carefully.
$13.99 a week is expensive. I can do my measurements on my Fitbit
$19./ week subscription. What's the math here ... Around $1,000 a year. $10,000 over 10 years. Who owns the company? Donald Trump? No problem if you're a billionaire. You can buy a high quality heart monitor for double that weekly price. Will last for decades.
after download asking upi details to give mandate Rs.1350 per week ,not share a single result free of cost

Does Heart Rate Monitor - HeartIn show your heart-rate result without paying?
Many negative reviews focus on this exact issue: the app may let you scan, but then withhold the result or later readings unless you pay. A few reviewers mention limited free use, but the common complaint is that the result itself is treated as a paid feature.
I can understand charging you for fancy information but to not show you your heart rate unless you pay is shameful! At least Samsung Health will show it to me. I uninstalled this app, it's not worth your time. Trust me!
Stay away. It costs more than Rs 52000/- per year subscription fees. They will start test of heart rate but won't show you results unless you pay for pro version which is Rs 1000+ per week.
rubbish, not even letting me see the results

Is Heart Rate Monitor - HeartIn accurate?
Reviews are mixed, but the negative accuracy reports are serious. Some users say it seems accurate or closer than similar apps, while others report wrong readings, failed readings, or readings that appear impossible. The app description itself frames the camera readings as wellness estimates, not medical measurements.
THIS REVIEW IS ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW: You get to scan your heart rate once a day. These scans are extremely inaccurate where it will often try to place your BPM into the 1-2 hundreds while you are completely calm and composed, likely a scam trying to force you into buying premium. Any more scans and it requires a paid subscription of $10 USD per month, and that's it. everything else requires a subscription. No ads though so I guess that's good
literally laid my phone on a piece of red cloth and the cloth had a pulse of 110. lol trash app.
I tried this app mainly to monitor my bpm. I found that I couldn't get an accurate reading with my phone. If that's not accurate how can I trust the other metrics. I also find the $12/wk charge exorbitant.

Can Heart Rate Monitor - HeartIn measure blood pressure, oxygen, or blood sugar?
Do not install it expecting your phone camera to replace certified devices for blood pressure, oxygen, or blood sugar. The app description says it can check pulse with the camera and lets users manually record blood pressure and SpO₂ values from their own certified devices. Reviews show that some users expected broader measurements and felt misled when those expectations were not met.
This was supposed to be HP reading heart rate oxygen & all. It's a total fraud; SO SAD!
Poor result and very limited features. They advertise it as having BP monitoring, blood sugar monitoring etc. All are fake claims
can buy a bp monitor with half the money of your weekly subscription. Scam. dont install this app.

Can Heart Rate Monitor - HeartIn burn your finger or overheat your phone?
Several reviewers say the camera flash or phone became uncomfortably hot during measurement, including reports of a burned finger or phone. Because the app uses the camera and flash for pulse checks, stop using it if your phone or finger gets hot.
I hate that I need to pay weekly or yearly just to measure and when I measure it burns my finger
paid also has the flashlight way to high so it burns
My phone was burning, and I got burned by it. I only give it one star. I don't like it, even though my light was turned off. And it's turn on!!!!😭😭

Is Heart Rate Monitor - HeartIn good for emergencies or cardiac concerns?
No review evidence supports relying on it in an emergency. The app description says it is a wellness and fitness app, not a medical device, and that readings should not replace advice from a qualified healthcare provider. One reviewer said a trial helped them decide to call EMS, but other reviewers specifically warn against using it during urgent or cardiac situations.
I'm glad that I had the trial. I simply can't afford to get the application. I had a very low heart rate 46 and in a few minutes it dropped to 40 I called EMS to get me to the hospital. I was admitted to ICU FOR IRREGULAR HEARTBEAT GRATEFUL FOR THE TRIAL
the worst app to download during emergency this app sucks just wants your info while your dying no stars only a middle finger
not the right app to use with cardiac.

Does Heart Rate Monitor - HeartIn have billing or unauthorized charge complaints?
Yes. Some reviewers report unexpected, immediate, unauthorized, or recurring charges. The reviews do not provide a reliable cancellation procedure, but they do warn users to watch their Play account and payment method if they start a trial or subscription.
They charged me 13.33 and it was unauthorized. They did not ask for payment. They just took it. I will be calling my bank.
don't subscribe unless you want $10 taken out immediately
this is a terrible app they trick you into getting the free service and then they charge you weekly so watch your Play account because you'll have four charges come out every month

Is Heart Rate Monitor - HeartIn annoying to use because of popups, ads, or review prompts?
Some reviewers say the app is hard or irritating to use because of popups, ads, repeated review requests, or confusing navigation. This is separate from the subscription complaints: even users who can open the app may find the interface interruptions frustrating.
vreselijke app met 10 miljoen pop ups om rotzooi te kopen. vanaf het moment dat je de app voor de eerste keer opent moet je al 10 pop ups door waarin ze om geld bedelen terwijl je de app nog niet gebruikt hebt
impossible to run with the ads
garbage app, interface is too confusing to get around. Can't seems to monitor heart rate unless you pay first. if we must pay for it to use it, then this is not the one for those who are looking to get their heart rate for free. I seems to only get to measure my heart rate one time and anything afterwards, they are making me to pay for the app to have the 2nd heart rate score. uninstall after 1 hr on my phone

Does Heart Rate Monitor - HeartIn work well for anyone?
Yes, there are positive reviews. Some users say it helps them check or track heart rate, works well, or was useful during a concerning health moment. But the positive reviews are short and do not resolve the repeated complaints about paywalls, subscriptions, accuracy, heat, and billing.
