Is Soda Reels full of ads?
Recent reviewers very often describe Soda Reels as ad-heavy. Complaints say ads appear between episodes, after taps, while switching screens, and sometimes block watching entirely. A few positive reviewers say ads are limited, but the strongest recurring concern is that the ads interrupt the viewing experience.
the ads here is never ending. every tap, every enter, every app swap, even just running in background will give you ads. Can't even purchase the VIP without getting force ads. The most Ad populated app I've seen so far haha.
this app is just a ad app they are longer than their stories you have to watch about two ads to keep going. yeah the stories are free but it's like 5 seconds for stories and 20 seconds of ads. so you are watching more ad than stories.
Love it, very few ads 👌🏽 not like the rest that say it's free and only give a few episodes for free and you have to watch a million ads or buy points.

Is Soda Reels free to watch, or do you have to pay?
The Play Store listing says Soda Reels is free, and reviewers confirm that some viewing is possible without paying. However, many reviewers say the free experience is dominated by ads, and some say additional videos, VIP, no-ad access, top-ups, or subscriptions are pushed inside the app.
| Option | What reviewers reported |
|---|---|
| Free viewing | Stories may be watchable, but many reviewers say ads make viewing frustrating. |
| Paid or VIP access | Some reviewers mention no-ad subscriptions, VIP, top-ups, or paying for more videos, with several complaints that paying did not solve the problem. |
Don't you dare download this app if you're not gonna pay. Even if you are so hooked by the story on ads. You'll have 5 sec watch per 30-120 mins ads. Very frustrating cause the story I watched is also so freaking good haha, but the heck! Just when I thought it was just 25 episodes, I saw that there's another 26-50 episodes hidden! I end up watching around 30 mins reel in 2 hours and a hundred of taps! Dangit
full of ads and u need to pay for other videos
this isn't free, it might not be money but ads it's fulll of ads every damn swipe an ad comes up as if you weren't watchibg that's just me watching straigth up ads not even the dramas, for whoever made ts it's not good at all.

Do Soda Reels notifications keep coming after you turn them off?
Yes, this is a major complaint in recent reviews. Several reviewers say they turned off notifications or denied permissions but still received promotional pop-ups or alerts, including while trying to sleep. Some say they uninstalled the app because the notification controls did not work for them.
I uninstalled for only one reason.. ADS . not the kind in the app.. but the kind that pop up ALL NIGHT while I'm trying to sleep on my phone across my screen showing their latest movies even with ALL notifications OFF. they are intrusive and take over your phone even without the permissions on. Cancelled the no ad subscription and I installed BYE
you need to be careful about downloading this one. I had no notification and no permissions turned on and I was still getting notifications out of nowhere. My phone kept going off with notifications from them.
I finally had to uninstall this app, after confirming 3 times that I had notifications turned off on it and it continually still sent notifications to my phone. Google should be looking into this issue. if a user doesnt give the app permissions, how is it overriding them to do what it wants?

Does the Soda Reels no-ad subscription or VIP remove ads?
Reviews raise doubts about paying to remove ads. Reviewers mention cancelling a no-ad subscription, seeing ads after paying for no ads, and being forced into ads while trying to buy VIP. Based on these reviews, prospective users should not assume paid access reliably removes interruptions.

Is Soda Reels a scam or fake?
Some reviewers explicitly call Soda Reels a scam or fake, mainly because of top-up concerns, ads that prevent access, money-back complaints, and claims that promoted rewards were not real. The reviews do not prove intent, but they do show enough user distrust that anyone considering payments should be cautious.
aplikasi sampah, spam iklan, bukan nonton drama malah cuma bolak balik nyangkut di iklan, fitur top up nya pun scam mereka hanya ingin merampas uang kalian, jangan pernah beli atau langganan di aplikasi seperti ini
I guess Soda Reels is fake. Half way through signing up and watching a reel the ad would not remove. The Rummy 500 ad will not allow you back to the app!! I could no longer access the reel.
have not been able to access any viewing on this app n have been requesting my money back for the last 3cweeks why am I having these issues

Why can’t I close Soda Reels ads or get back to the drama?
Several reviewers say specific ads would not close or would not let them return to Soda Reels. The complaints name ads for Temu, Muse, Rummy, and TikTok, and describe being stuck in loops or unable to continue the reel.
if I could give zero stars it would still be too much! Ads are insufferable, will play 5 times between each episode, always ends with Temu ad which you can't close so the 3 ads repeat and repeat. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME
if the ads let you close them after you watch them I would totally give it a 5 star review. the muse ad is the worst one.
jokeap had constant ads for app tik tok I've already installed wont let me get past. waste time for reals!

Are the stories on Soda Reels good?
Some reviewers do like the dramas themselves, calling the stories fun, addictive, or good. Even several negative reviews say the stories are appealing, but they often add that ads, notifications, language issues, or missing continuations get in the way.
the stories are fun and addictive
The shorts are good and I expect some ads but there are too many. In addition, the notifications are annoying! I decided to uninstall on my phone until I wany to see another movie.
I love this drama to watch but unable to to finish can't find the continuation

Is Soda Reels hard to uninstall?
Most reviews that mention uninstalling describe removing the app because of ads or notifications. A single reviewer says the app could not be uninstalled, but the broader review sample mainly shows users choosing to uninstall rather than a confirmed uninstall bug.
it can't uninstall curse this app useless
had to uninstall this app just to get away from all its stupid notifications because turning off notifications didnt work. they'd still pop up with random movies all day everyday.
I specifically chose no notifications & it kept sending them. it's annoying so I had to uninstall it

Does Soda Reels really give you money?
The app listing provided here describes a short-drama streaming app, not a rewards app. In the reviews, the only direct money-reward complaint says the app lies about giving money, so there is no review evidence here that users are successfully earning money from Soda Reels.
they lie about giving you money
all asking money advertising long time
