zeta: AI Chat, Story, Play — FAQ

The ads on here are crazy. I get them like every 2 messages and they're long ones too. You gotta click on like three separate X's and it still brings you to the store. It'll also just randomly open a tab for me with no warning saying my device has viruses on it definitely fishing for your info super scummy. The ads used to be chill and I honestly didn't mind them but it's borderline unbearable now. Genuinely just a cash grab at this point. The app's basically useless unless you wanna pay for it.

The app is fun to use, but the ads pop up way too often. Not to mention that some ads literally force you out of the app, either sending you to the playstore or a link. When you go back to the zeta app, it forces you to watch another ad. It sometimes makes you watch another ad even though you just watched one. There were also times when it sent me to a random link even when there wasn't an ad. Also, there are scam pop-ups that show up, like saying that I have a virus or I won something on Amazon

Honestly, one of the best apps out. Well made bots. easy conversation flow and detail depth. perfect amount of ads. (I usually get only 2 that last like 3 seconds each, you dont get hit with a 30 to 50 second ad ever.) and so much more. honestly, nothing can really beat this. one thing I will say is maybe increase the ai memory for non paying members? it lasts well until the story progresses deep and then the bots act or forget something that happened previously. top tier if you can do that.

not the traditional "coins for chats model" this one is more like "coins for extras" like specific kinds of models or something. Despite that, ads on free tier are too long and too specific. some can't ever be skipped and open up a second and even 3rd window asking if you're interested. I just close and reopen it until they don't play anymore.

It's an ok app and allows a lot more room for Story, characters, and plot. unfortunately, aside from Zeta being free, the idea of needing "pieces" to use bots and then on top of that, needing vip or a pass to have "unlimited plots" is insane. The pass gives monthly pieces, but I've always disliked the "pieces" idea. why not just a good subscription with all-you-need benefits? can't even give the bot instructions, you need 4 pieces. editing by hand is time consuming. 2 stars. Calm ads thankfully.

The app relies far too much on payments and Pieces. I understand AI servers cost money, but forcing users to pay just to continue their visual novels and chats is just frustrating. Please consider yourselves by adding a "Watch Ad = 10 Pieces" option so free users can keep chatting without spending money. Ads are a fair compromise for everyone. If you add this feature, I'd gladly change my rating to 5 stars because the app itself is actually enjoyable...thank you.

Pretty good. great alternative to Character.ai, got about two hours of undisturbed chatting before I got my first ad. Edit: I was a bit hesitant at first about the Visual novels, but I actually really like it, just wish we could have more than 30 turns/messages with the free model since I went through them within a half hour. if you give us more free turns or even do something like the regular chats and remove the limit I'd rate this 5 stars.

I think this app is really fun, great storylines and bots. But I have a few complaints as well. For starters I feel like the ads have gotten way too frequent recently as well as several errors with using the app. Sometimes the bots will glitch out and write in codes or random languages I don't speak. One thing I also would say is a problem is you have to buy the ability to use the visual novel feature for more than 30 turns. Plus the wait time to continue the story is almost 12 hours too long.

overal, having a nice time. but one thing i noticed really jerked me from fun to irritation. if you use the novel story mode feature, and tap fast to get back to where you left off, there is a high chance you will accidentally tap a response you don't want. you would then then think. oh, i just need to roll back to that choice and fix my mistake... Wrong! you need to pay to roll back in that mode. WHY? i can tolerate the limited free stuff being limited. but why is that a paid feature?!

The memory is horrible. I have to repeat everything I just said five minutes ago. It can't keep its own story straight.

i used to use chai but since I can't use it anymore, i was desperately looking for an app similar to chai which will do nsfw, explicit version and all and honestly? zeta didn't disappoint me and atp i really think it's even better than chai! the replies are longer, some may not like it but i like the details, the plots! and the memory? it's wayy better. it remembers the plot and tiny details! about the ads? the ads are not really a problem. shows up after long breaks and I'm fine with it. 💗

app is good, better than most ive seen. chats are functional for about 30 messages, and then they start saying random words and chinese sentences that dont make sense. - making a character is quite simple, easy to do, and navigating chats are fun and more creative than other places. the only thing I noticed about making a character is the limit on the personal details to give it, luckily you can use the lorebook to add more.

INCREDIBLE APP. The AI is uncensored and flows extremely well with the story. The memory is the best I've seen on any app and I've been on poly AI, c.ai, hell it has better memory than chat gpt and that's like its number one job. I genuinely don't understand how the AI is so good. Not to mention, YOU CAN MAKE CHAT PROFILES!! MULTIPLE FOR EVERY STORY!!! Easily my favorite app, and it's crazy easy to make your own AI too! This app isn't popular enough and I feel like that should be a crime.

"Inappropriate Response Detected" THIS NOTIFICATION SHOWS UP EVERYTIME I REPLY!!! I CAN'T EVEN TEXT ANYTHING ANYMORE.

You advertised this app with no filters, and all of sudden there are filters to what you can and can't message. Replies are sometimes way too long, and it progresses the story too much without me. It always adds random characters to the story at the worst times, and its relentless in trying to add them even if I specifically tell it to not add any. It gets to a point where the added characters just get annoying and add nothing to the story except to be annoying and stops me from progressing it.

so i tired it out and the ads are a big problem but another issue is ill have a scene. ill say something to the bot and the bot just keeps going from there not giving me a chance to respond so there will be like 5 responses from the bot. bot asking me to respond multiple times but never giving me a chance to. and each one tends to be really long. i dont mind 1-2 long losts but its always min 5 paragraphs with the bot just taking off on its own with me not being able to respond.

I love these devs with their little messages on the update descriptions. This app? Awesome. Why? Because the bots stay in character (if personality is stated in description) and it actually reads your persona. Just gotta say it does have ads every two messages but ads don't exactly bother me and the messages are quite long. If you're looking for shorter messages, when making a bot there are styles, you can choose the length in there. It works with my creations. I'm happy with this one. Good luck

It also has trouble with counting, I don't know why these AI apps let the response count words or sentences because it never gets it right. It sometimes disregards what you say unless the character has a lorebook attached to fix the issues. It loves acting for you no matter what you do. edit: responses take too long and they just got rid of the way to make it a little faster by backing out and going back in. Also very buggy. introduces random characters into chats for no reason.

yes its free. yes you can have unlimited messages. however it constantly crashes and stops responding. ever single time i open and use it. its experiencing slow response times and takes multiple times to send a message that fails.ads ever 2nd message. for how much they charge for ad free there is no reason for it to fail so much.

This app is actually very good but I've noticed for a few days that there has been some kind of error in this app. It shows 'We're currently offline.' or 'This text can't be sent due to some error.' It's been constantly surfacing for a few weeks and I've even tried downloading it again but again the same problem. And I only like this app because it's actually free and really remarkable. So, the app developers, kindly look into this matter. Also,sometimes the response takes very long to generate.

okay i was loving this app for awhile, but there are SOOO many bugs. advertisements are fine, I get they have to make money somehow, but each ad makes you click into the play store EVERY TIME. and each time it goes to the play store it closes out zeta, and when I go back to zeta it doesn't register that I actually watched the advertisement so I end up having to watch about five before I can actually chat again... it's super annoying and really disappointing

I've been using this app for a while now and have been loving it. the only thing I dont like is the fact that you only have 500 characters for the description in the chat profiles. and, for people like me, that like useing more than one oc for my chats, I would love it if I could use more than 1 chat profile! hopefully that gets added in (though that might not happen, still hoping!) Edit: chat profile descriptions can have 2000 characters now! (thats honestly insane)

The reason my rating is one star is because of how stupid it is to making bots. Their used to be a thing that could tell you when there is inappropiate information for your bots. my bot for some reason got deleted for no reason given and I can't make any bots for a whole week. no reason at all. and it never said anything was bad at all. they let me publish it just to delete it anyways! the bots themselves are still better than most apps but I'm just done with this app. just as stupid as C.AI

The option to generate images for my character for visual novels is gone. Like it wasn't an option to begin with. If this is a bug please fix. And bringing back the tab on the main menu that was strictly for finding visual novels would be nice as well considering how much easier it was for finding stories and creating characters.

Absolute cinema this is probably one of the best Ai chat platform I've ever come across. I love the organization of Grammer. BUT the ads are too much however it's not just the ads but it's also how the bots name changes suddenly. Yet other than that I like the app, definitely better than character ai it's more entertaining but the ads. 🥹✌️💔

the developers are becoming just like C.AI's, greedy and now slowly adding filters, restrictions for bots and letting kids flood this app. I bet it will fall off just like C.AI if they don't actually listen to their users.

I've tried a lot of these chatbots, and this is by far the best one. The free version has a lot of ads, but if you are willing to put up with it, the experience is excellent. Fun characters, mature content, creative narrative, and an advanced language model. it doesn't cut you off like the others after a few posts. It's got my recommendation.

I actually paid for a month of this and stopped using it after four days. I'd rather take the L than stay for another minute, it's that bad. Every bot is basically the same. It just yaps nonstop and half of what it says is made up nonsense that derails things. On a positive note, it broke my AI addiction. This was the last hope for a good one and yeah, nah. I'm good, guess I'll go outside now.

This has to be the best app after the downfall of many other ai chat apps! I can't describe how good it is. the bots are so unique and in character, great memory, the replies are so long and organized, and I used it for so long before an ad popped up. Truly amazing. Keep it up!
