Is Momo: AI Photo & Video Maker a scam?
Recent reviews give strong reasons to be cautious. Many reviewers describe the app as a scam because they say they paid for a trial or subscription, were asked to buy coins or credits, then received no completed video or poor results. A few positive reviews say the app is fun or not a scam, but the most detailed recent complaints are about payment, failed generation, and difficulty canceling.
app charged my card even though it says 7 days free trial before the charge. I generate a video that it never created and now it wont allow me to cancel the subscription. beware this is a scam app
Paywalls behind paywalls. it's a huge scam. they want you to pay weekly then pay again for each time you edit and process the video then it's hard to end the subscription. do not download,
I don't think that this application is scam

Is Momo: AI Photo & Video Maker really free, or do you have to pay?
The Play Store listing says the app is free, but reviewers say meaningful use often requires payment. Multiple users report paying for a so-called free trial, then being asked to buy coins, tokens, or credits to create more videos. One reviewer also reported seeing a weekly subscription price after the trial screen.
First off, the 7 day free trial is actually $5, which is fine, i paid that. The issue is this so called "free trail" only gives you credits for 2 videos and then you have to pay again. On top of that my second video was choppy and didn't work properly. All in all the first video was great, but definitely not what I thought I was paying for. Nor would I have paid $5 for 1 video.
Download, opened it and it said free trial for 7 days, then $14.99 a week! Nope! Uninstalled right away! $14.99 a week is ridiculous for making AI slop.
Paid for premium but still have to purchase coins to use the app!!! What a rip off. No where does it state that when you sign up!

Does Momo: AI Photo & Video Maker actually generate videos?
Some reviewers say they eventually got a video, but many recent complaints say video generation stalls or never completes. A common pattern is that the app says the video will take about ten minutes, then remains in progress for far longer or produces nothing. Reviews also mention maintenance messages, upload failures, and generated videos disappearing.
Its been saying 10 mins in progress for about 2 hours now. This is a scam.
This app trash. I used my 50 credits to try and make a video. Its been saying ten minutes remaining for nearly an hour now. Waste of $5 edit: I got the credits back and was able to make the video eventually. it wasnt TERRIBLE but to have to paybfor a subscription AND buy credits is just bullshyt. BUT it does work so I guess ill add a star to my initial rating. Stop bein so damn greedy.
I bought tokens. videos start to download. doesnt finish and video never completes and disappear.

Do Momo: AI Photo & Video Maker videos look like your uploaded photos?
The reviews are mixed, but the detailed complaints say the app often does not preserve the person’s likeness. Reviewers describe faces, bodies, features, and expressions changing so much that the result does not look like the original person. A few users liked the detail or called the app cool, but likeness accuracy is a frequent concern in negative reviews.
⭐ 1-Star Review Absolutely terrible app. It claims to turn your photos into moving photos, but the results are a complete joke. The videos look NOTHING like the original photo you submit. Instead of simply animating the picture, it changes faces, features, expressions, and other details until the person in the video barely even resembles the person in the original photo. What’s the point of uploading a photo if the app is going to completely butcher it? The results are creepy and unrealistic.
doesn't look anything like the pics, Very disappointed. spent $10 on garbage.
great video detail for me and my team

Does Momo: AI Photo & Video Maker take coins or credits when generation fails?
Several reviewers say credits, coins, or tokens were deducted even when the app did not return a finished video. One reviewer said credits were eventually returned and the app worked later, but others say they lost credits or were prompted to pay for more without receiving a usable result.
It used all of my credits and never produced even a single artifact. Terrible product and customer experience.
5 dollar free trial? lol ok tried it. app ate the 60 credits and no video. be aware this is a scam for surs.

How do you cancel Momo: AI Photo & Video Maker?
Reviews suggest cancellation can be a problem if you try to do it inside the app. Several reviewers say the settings or cancellation screen froze, locked, or blacked out. One reviewer specifically says they had to cancel through their Google Play account instead of through Momo. The app listing also provides the support email [email protected], but review feedback about support is not reassuring.
beware this app is horrible and if you sign up for a subscription you will never be able to cancel it. The setting screen locks and you can't open the cancel option. I am emailing now but I had to order a new debit card. very frustrating! reply to your reply I know where the cancel subscription is, as I stated in the review, it doesn't work and I contacted customer service and they said they couldnt help. I had to report my card stolen. You hit it every damn day! my bank has a case on you.
Horrible, save your money... please!! Do Not... Do Not download this piece of $hit!! I paid for a subscription, and tried to create a video that never produced. They finally refunded my credited hours later, so I tried it again, and guess what....NOTHING produced again. Also, there's no way to cancel on their end...u have to go to your Google Play account to cancel that way. You've been warned...Do Not Waste Your Time or Money on this Mess!!
do not use. Will not allow you to cancel. It will black out not allowing you to cancel received an email telling me to edit my review. No help from Google as well.

Can you get a refund or support from Momo: AI Photo & Video Maker?
Reviewers report poor support and uncertain refunds. Some say they requested a refund after failed generation, while one reviewer says support told them there was nothing that could be done because the purchase was made through the Play Store. Another says credits were refunded after hours, but the next attempt still failed.
app doesn't process video. waited 45 minutes and still nothing. sent an email to support as and was advised since purchase made through the play store there was nothing that could be done and they cant refund or credit the account for the 50points is cost for the video. like seriously, how many people are actually using a pc or nac to make a purchase. its usually app store or the play store.
Takes an hour or more for videos. takes credits but gives no video. ABSOLUTELY ZERO TECHNICAL SUPPORT.
This app does not work. I just spent $5.39 for the trial and it doesn't work. I am requesting a refund immediately back to my account.

Does Momo: AI Photo & Video Maker crash or have bugs?
Yes, recent reviews mention several reliability problems beyond slow generation. Users report crashes, frozen buttons, upload problems, maintenance messages, and screens that prevent them from continuing. These complaints suggest the app may be unreliable on at least some devices or flows.
I would do zero stars if I could. the trial is misleading and the app crashes immediately to the point I can't even use it.
Absolute GARBAGE 🗑 app.... Barely functions, crash closes app when trying to view created videos. Samsung S26 Ultra
The app DOES NOT WORK. After clicking continue on several videos I am not given a chance to upload photos it just stays on the same screen with continue essentially greyed out. edit: also it seems the development team doesn't actually read feedback.
