How ironic is you only get about two to three people liking you only if you're not paying to see them. But if you pay the monthly fee you never have likes, as soon as your subscription expires you're getting two or three people a day liking you, it's an obvious scam and a way to make people purchase a subscription and that is so foul

I'm honestly not sure why I continue trying this app when clearly they engage in a lot of fraudulent practices. Their newest scam includes constantly telling you that you get matches but when you go to the site there's nobody new there. Also when you do match with people they make it so that you actually never come across them and they will just sit there until you decide to subscribe and spend more money with them. Then 99% of those are fake. a huge huge percent of these are bots or AI or fake.

%100 a Scam. after canceling my subscription renewal, I received daily like notifications but there are no new likes. Oh want people to actually be able to reply that you message, well there's a charge for that too. Basically everything even with a subscription is an additional charge. I canceled but still stuck So I ask WHAT IS THE PREMIUM SUBSCRIPTION ACTUALLY FOR? To facilitate never ending up charges and additional features one would think would be part of your outrageous monthly costs too?

Lots of fake profiles. I get about 10 email messages a day saying I have a new like and every single one of them is a fake profile. The profile doesn't show in the "who's viewed me" and doesn't show in the likes as well. They will only show if I hit the link in the email and then the about me details are completely illiterate and don't even match the pictures and the pictures never match the area in which I live. This holds true to just about every app that Match Group owns.

Way too many scammers. I purchased a six month paid subscription so I could see likes. I matched with more than a dozen men. Each time I would mention scammers, they would disappear. The ones I was able to report were found to be scammers and kicked off but there are so many that I finally just gave up. Don't waste your money!

This is nothing but scams. Men who have all magically lived here 11 years from a different country or are "interested in finance" that then ask about bitcoin. Fake fake fake. Don't waste your time ladies. The days of dating apps have come to an end.

it certainly isn't free. you can do all the sign up but you cannot see who likes your profile or even the messages so why bother. when I Googled it did say it was one of the most expensive dating sites and it is for sure the most expensive. only sign up if you are in a heavily populated area

Please read this before you purchase. Match is designed to extract your money, not help you meet someone special. The best matches for you will be found in a suction called Highlights... these members will not be found in the main search. To contact the suggested matches in the highlights section you will need to purchase super likes, even the highest tier of subscription does not provide enough super likes. You will be spending more money than you think. Be aware of this before you purchase.

This app does everything it can to get your money and after a couple of days ads appear. I can understand opting into ads while being able to utilize the app at its full capacity, but there are ads and you still are unable to see your likes or who messages you unless it's a mutual match. On top of that, the app determines the profiles you get to see. The app keeps all of your likes and messengers blurred and you are unable to browse freely. You have to swipe through profile 1 by 1.

They will lock you out of your account with no explanation. There's no phone number to call and only automated email responses. Zero help from "customer service". What exactly did I pay for? Complete waste of money. Save yours!!

I signed up, got some good conversations going and decided to subscribe. 3 hours later I am locked out, I submit multiple support tickets and I get emails that say thanks but nobody responds. It's been 6 days, you have taken my money but you won't respond. Update 9/10 - they responded saying I broke a rule without any specifics and won't refund me my money. This is a SCAM. Avoid

My account was blocked right after I paid for my diamond/premium subscription. This has got to be a scam site.

The app sucks. Half the time you can't see all the person's information, you can like someone and it won't add them to your list of likes, you can message someone and they don't receive the message. If I hadn't paid for 6 months I'd already delete this useless app but I'll keep it until my 6 months is up but I have a feeling all my messages and likes won't show up until I've stopped paying then it'll be like magic and I'll have 100 matches to get me to pay again. total rip off app

it worked fine for 3 days. then logged me out and won't let me sign in. I try to log in and it says remote system failure. Of course, this is after I paid for a subscription. Can't even login to cancel. Not on the app or in the browser. Not impressed with the 3 days I got. Lots of fake profiles.

First time user photos uploaded then app crashed just stuck on loading screen. I tried to login but it won't let me. Contacted them twice but only got a automated email which was no help at all.

This app sucks. I try to scroll down to read someone's bio and all the sudden it's swiped right for me. This is so frustrating because I didn't actually get to look at the entire profile before the app decides for me. I will never pay to use this app until this is fixed. Most apps allow you to tap on a picture to view the bio to prevent accidental likes. Your app is very flawed. FIX IT. No one's going to pay for an app that decides for you.

The app works and is intuitive, but I ended up uninstalling it and only using the site because the swipe sensitivity is way too high. By that I mean I would slightly touch the edge of a profile and "like" or "dislike" a profile without trying with no way to undo it. It feels rude to accidentally hit like and potentially mislead someone when they reach out to you. I accidentally liked three on the first ten minutes without trying. I'm not a serial swiper.

Swiping is way too sensative. It's nearly impossible to read a bio without accidentally swiping left or right.

Complete garbage, search filters don't work, search return people hundreds of miles outside search distance, everything is behind a pay wall. Stick to Facebook dating, it's free and better in every way. Update 8/24/26: even worse than before, constant notifications that people like me, yet when I go to see them, there is no one there. Tons of bots and fake profiles. Canceled my subscription, once it runs out, I won't be back

The distance was set to a 100-mile radius, yet it showed me people one to three states away; I even double-checked my location settings and set a deal-breaker for distance, but only got five people I didn't like. The only person I did like was locked behind a super like paywall. Don't bother with this app unless you like your pockets drained, and I do not like my pockets being drained; I've never once paid for a dating app and I'm not starting now.

Glitchy. I attempted to use the boost feature and tapping the icon does nothing. When creating my profile going back to edit what I typed makes the cursor bounce back to the end of the sentence each time and won't auto capitalize new sentences. the algorithm is pulling profiles from three states away from me even though I don't have that long of a distance chosen. For one of the oldest most mature dating apps they still have a lot of work to do apparently.

Of all the dating apps the worst and rudest customer support reps I've ever dealt with. Emails were either ignored or misread then when I dared to follow up I was berated and told they're no longer replying to me. Insanity.

I would absolutely NOT recommend Match. I had an active account and suddenly lost access to everything—my profile, matches, and conversations—with no warning or explanation. I contacted customer support, and they couldn't even locate my old account or explain what happened. If an account can simply disappear and their own support can't find or restore it, I have zero confidence in the app. I won't be using Match again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

SCAM!!!!! It's completely dead, active user base is nothing. It's just a money extraction scheme

just like most dating apps these days, it's just a scam to get your money. none of the filters actually work. barely any active users. almost zero potential matches nearby. and yes, loaded with fake profiles. I regret spending my money and will never pay for this app again, or any app owned by match group

Terrible, I have paid for a membership with no results and very few options , made sure my profile was 100% complete still terrible. now im not paying anything with the same results. save your money. the only highlight was that you could message 1 person you had previously liked for free. but now they took that away. fb dating is free and 100% better
