The real women aren't using the app. They allow FanDuel and Tinder to advertise. They're expensive. They don't deserve your money. Their app is underdeveloped, overpriced and a scam. This was a Christian app but now they allow users to have agnostic and spiritual but not religious labels.

The advertisement said it was all free. The only reason I downloaded. Get app and can browse but you have to pay to message or even see who likes you. False advertising.... very disappointed. plus, when I finally paid, I the first 2 matches were scammers. One tried to get $3000 for plane tickets home from Poland and the second one said we couldn't have a true relationship without trusting him my money. Said he was an investor. As soon as I told them no, they disappeared. DON'T JOIN!!!

It's a somewhat decent app. my biggest gripe is that there might as well not be a distance setting. you can check the box saying beyond your desired distance (let's say 50 for arguments sake) is a deal breaker, and it'll still show people who are hundreds of miles away.

keep the fake profiles off the app, and you'll get 5 stars (04/02/2024 4/5 stars) edit, new update needs work. when typing in a reply when liking a profile, and I leave app window for something else on my phone (Google search for ideas, text for spell check, weather app for next week's weather, etc), what I was in the middle of writing disappears, whole profile disappears, and I don't know if my like was sent or not. and if It was, it was sent half written!! unbelievable guys.. 3/5 stars 07/28

Good app, but needs a lot of work. It won't let me verify myself to use the new chivalry mode, photos take a long time to upload to your profile and it can't handle uploading multiple pics at once, and search filters really don't do anything. If these issues are fixed, then Upward will very easily be the best dating app on the market.
