Is SIMOSA - Jazz World a scam?
SIMOSA is Jazz's own official self-care app for managing your SIM in Pakistan, not a third-party impostor. But 'scam-like' is exactly how at least one reviewer describes their experience trying to resolve a paid-but-undelivered package purchase, with repeated requests for help going nowhere. It's a legitimate carrier app with a real, recurring pattern of billing and support problems, which is worth knowing before you rely on it for a purchase you can't afford to lose.
Very frustrating. Extremely untrusted, scam like behaviour. Despite multiple requests for resolution of a paid but undelivered international roaming purchase, I was unable to get any genuine response. Disappointing.

Is SIMOSA - Jazz World legit?
Yes, it's the official Jazz network app, used by many customers day to day for balance and package management without incident. The recurring complaint isn't about legitimacy of the app itself, it's about what happens when a purchase goes wrong: reviewers describe balance deducted for packages that then don't activate, and no reachable helpline to fix it.
very pathetic service. there is no means of contacting the helpline. I recharged Rs 3000 for a sharing package of Rs 2607. I tired to download the pkg and without activation of the pkg Rs 10 were deducted from the bal and then Rs 15 was deducted without the activation of pkg. my mobile data is off and using my home WiFi. The cell company is looting the citizens of Pakistan because people don't see what they are doing. Col Safdar Mahmood Rawalpindi

Why did SIMOSA deduct my balance without activating the package?
This is one of the most common complaints: reviewers describe buying a package through the app — sometimes via JazzCash or Easypaisa — having the money deducted, and the package simply never activating, with no automatic refund and often no response from customer service afterward. If this happens, reviewers recommend saving your transaction confirmation immediately so you have proof when following up.
amount deducted from my jazz cash while buying package, but package did not activate. no response from customer service. WORST EXPERIENCE 👎

Why does the SIMOSA app show gambling or subscription pop-ups?
At least one reviewer reports being repeatedly redirected from the core SIM-management screens toward gambling and third-party subscription pages, warning that this risks users being enrolled in unwanted subscriptions and unexpected balance deductions. This isn't something the app documents as intended behavior, and the reviewer specifically asked Google Play to look into it — treat any such redirect inside the app with suspicion rather than tapping through.
⭐ 1 Star This app is required to manage my Jazz SIM, but it repeatedly redirects users to gambling and third-party subscription pages. This puts users at risk of unwanted subscriptions and unexpected balance deductions. Please remove these misleading redirects and protect users. I also request Google Play to investigate this app for user safety and policy compliance.

Why is SIMOSA customer support unresponsive when a package fails?
A number of reviewers describe raising a support ticket for a failed or unactivated package and having it closed without the underlying issue actually being fixed. This pattern — ticket opened, ticket closed, problem unresolved — comes up often enough in recent reviews that it looks like a real gap in how billing disputes are handled through the app, rather than an isolated bad experience.
Simosa worst customer support, my ticket were closed without fixing issue
