been using the app for more than a couple of years. with the way how hard it is to make web video streaming actually work, this app works the best in my opinion. Of course, you run into problems very often but this is not because of the app, moreso the nature of streaming like this. having a one time purchase after all those years is more than fair. hope you keep it going 🤙
It used to be the best app. But now it never casts anything. Not even from sites I used to cast from all the time. I even did the clear cache and data trick. Useless now.
Awesome app! Plays everything I've ever wanted to cast from all sorts of sites by copy/pasting the link. The pause and play features work great too and can be done on your remote. I have used it on all my TV's flawlessly.

videos don't play past 7 minutes. doesn't matter if I'm streaming from the browser or playing from a local file on my phone. at about 7 minutes it goes to the buffering at 33% screen and stays there.
New update with new issues created again. Now the app constantly disconnects itself from the receiver app Hisense. Sometimes it's bad enough that it won't reconnect until I restart my phone. I'm not your QA team figure it out.

However, connection between the phone and receiver app is not always consistent. Lately, I can usually only get 30 minutes before having to restart everything or switch to screen mirroring. If the bug isn't fixed, this otherwise great app might become useless. :/

Does Web Video Cast work with YouTube videos?

I have yet to figure out how to cast a youtube video using this. otherwise it works. edit: it's definitely a bug. the yellow video list button doesn't always show up. for longer videos. I've been using it occasionally for a couple of months. and for YouTube it almost never works. there is no yellow arrow so nothing to share. this is before connecting to the tv, so i don't think it's a connection problem. the app simply doesn't detect the videos in the YouTube web site.
Absolutely useless to watch YouTube videos but for lives it's fine.

can't close ads. when you hit the "X" to close, it opens your browser and sends you to websites or sends you to the app store. Lord knows what it's loading into your device

Exceptionally cheap for permanent premium compared to other casting apps, usually casting premium is over $50, it is $5 for this app. Amazing quality connection and UI, manages to connect to my older smart TV with ease when you download the receiver app on your TV, please test the free premium trial on the app!

Really nice experience, this is really the only app that allowed me to cast on a samsung smart tv because it runs on TizenOS and has no chromecast support, unless you purchase their dongle, this app is much better.

Man I don't get the overwhelming amount of positive reviews here. it's a hackjob of features that somewhat work. usually with websites that ain't Youtube lol. the choice of Useragents are extremely limited and most importantly the support is irrelevant. if you bother reporting an issue they mail back with the usual template and never really give you closure. I am past the Google Refund timeline so there's that. These kind of apps, should remain being *sourced* from *sources* and not paying for

I tried this app a long time ago but forgot all about it. When I wanted a good screen mirroring/video casting app, I tried others and this was the only one that worked seamlessly! I also appreciate that WVC has a tutorial to work with any media. Thanks for reminding me about you! Will be keeping this.
