Is Sleeper - Fantasy Sports a good fantasy football app?
Reviews are sharply split. Fans call Sleeper clean, modern, and one of the best fantasy football platforms, with useful draft notifications and player news. Critical reviewers describe the same app as buggy, cluttered, hard to navigate, or worse than Yahoo, ESPN, and NFL Fantasy. The safest reading is that Sleeper can work well for users who like its combined fantasy and sports layout, but recent complaints make stability and usability real concerns before moving a league there.
New Review due to fix. This has always felt like the cleanest platform for fantasy football. I appreciate all of the things I need all in one place. I really don't have many other suggestions other than some additional filters used for searching players based on stats not on the platform. Thank you for a great app.
Easily the best Fantasy Football League out there right now! Blows away the other main 3!
So buggy as to make me want to move back to ESPN. Navigation is a mess and unintuitive. The color scheme is hard to see. Too much engagement BS diluting the actual team management.

Does Sleeper - Fantasy Sports crash or freeze during drafts?
Yes, draft stability is a major warning in the reviews. Reviewers describe crashes, freezing, draft boards not updating, being kicked out of draft rooms, and even unwanted autodraft or wrong-player outcomes. Some users still say the app works well, but anyone running an important draft should treat recent draft lag and crash reports as a meaningful risk.
App crashes constantly, drafts have been impacted by draft board not updating properly, folks have it constantly exit and reenter the draft for the board to update. Loved this app, now looking for alternative.
Used the app for 2 diffrent drafts. It would shut down... alerts would pop up and kick me out of the draft room. I ended up getting put on autodraft due to the app locking up in one league. In the other it drafted an incorrect player for me. I kow this sounds like user error,...but had same issues last year. Im done.
tends to lag during draft. friend said there app kept freezing. App takes forever to update player statuses. Will even notify a player out but won't have your player status updated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lags!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Very annoying!!!!!!!!!!!!!! App keeps closing for no reason. Phone says app has a bug. FIX IT!!!!!!!!!!!! Still the same issues on android!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Has Sleeper - Fantasy Sports become too focused on betting and gambling?
That is a clear concern in recent reviews. The Play Store description itself promotes Player Picks, Team Picks, deposits, payouts, and cash winnings, while some fantasy users say betting content, popups, scores, and related information crowd out league management. If you only want a traditional fantasy football manager, the betting emphasis may feel intrusive.
This app has basically turned into an app for sports betting. The UI is very cluttered and needs to be simplified with a more focused approach - there is too much information crammed into one line. Forums are full of spam and are completely useless. Overall user experience is mediocre at best despite the solid fantasy football league management system at the foundation.
Make no mistake, this is a betting app first and the fantasy part just tots in the corner. Every single thing you'd want to do takes 5-10 clicks navigating through info that only gambling addicts need
was a nice app until all the sports betting popups took over. thankfully they make it easy to turn it off, yet a few days later it's back on??

Does Sleeper - Fantasy Sports let you withdraw winnings?
The app description advertises fast payouts and secure deposits, but the review sample includes serious withdrawal complaints. Reviewers say winnings were visible but not withdrawable, stuck as “in transit,” or affected by support problems. The reviews do not prove that every payout fails, but they do show that withdrawal trouble is a real concern raised by users.
I won and even though though the money is in my wallet it still says in transit and won't let me withdrawal my winnings , it has been 12 hours since the games seen settled and nobody will answer me nor is it a number
Put in 10 dollars and won 53 from it but the app refuses to let me withdraw. I have even tried waiting a few days to see if that is the issue but I still have yet to get my money back.
screwed me out of my winnings due to a customer support error

Is Sleeper - Fantasy Sports easy to use, or is the interface cluttered?
Ease of use is one of the most divided topics. Positive reviews praise the layout and design, but critical reviews repeatedly call the interface overwhelming, crowded, cluttered, and difficult for basic team management such as setting a lineup or finding a team. New users coming from Yahoo, ESPN, or NFL Fantasy may face a learning curve.
gets the job done for fantasy but holy smokes the user interface is overwhelming. I never exactly know where to focus my attention which makes it hard to use. Basic things like navigating to my team to set a line up is difficult. I think the app is trying to do far too much.
This app is so laggy and the projections are so far off at times it’s not even funny. Coming from NFL Fantasy and also having a league on ESPN this app is so much more difficult to navigate. Simpler is better sometimes. Give me the important stuff make it easy to navigate and call it a day
great design, easy to use. I really like the updates and information is deep and very accessible. the notification sound is movable but not intrusive. very well made app.

Can you turn off dark mode in Sleeper - Fantasy Sports?
Reviewers say dark mode is forced or effectively permanent, and they complain about not having a light-background option. The reviews do not provide a confirmed setting path to change it. If dark interfaces are hard for you to read, this is a notable accessibility concern before installing.
the dark background really sucks and makes it hard for me to see. For that reason I am going back to Yahoo for Fantasy Football. it would be great if they had the option to switch colors.
Hate that you're forced into dark mode!! I don't see why it can't be an in-app setting, or at least mimic device settings. Don't like that news, scores, betting, etc are the first things that come up, and you have to navigate through the app to find your fantasy football league. All in all, not user friendly unless you like dark mode and clutter
if I select free agents, what do you think I want to see? who's trending or who's available? I definitely don't care who is trending, I want to see who is available and not already on a roster and trending. what a stupid default setting. the app is dark and literally the only app available to that won't let you change it. they've tried to jam everything they can imagine into it. it's busy and hard to read. the layout it to much. simple is better. they've cluttered it up, made it dark.

How good is Sleeper - Fantasy Sports customer support?
The reviews provided are strongly negative about support. Users describe live chat and email as unresponsive, say they could not get help with league or SleeperSafe issues, and connect support problems to withdrawal complaints. There are no support-focused positive reviews in this sample to balance those reports.
Very Poor Customer Service. No support what so ever. the live chat is a SCAM. ITS FAKE. THEIR EMAIL IS A SCAM. ITS FAKE. THEY NEVER REPONSE. I need help with my league and you have virtually no support.
the customer service is terrible. William from sleeper will not help me change my address in the sleeper safe
screwed me out of my winnings due to a customer support error

Does Sleeper - Fantasy Sports update live scores and player statuses reliably?
Recent reviews raise reliability problems around game-time updates. Users report live scoring stopping, players showing zero points mid-game, slow IR and player-status updates, missing stats, and projections they do not trust. For fantasy players who depend on accurate live status and waiver timing, this is a practical risk.
Just stopped updating at halftime rams bs 49ers. 1st time playing on sleeper. not impressed. this never happened in my 15+ years on yahoo
Slow to make IR updates causes people to miss waiver windows. David Njoku has been announced as IR for days and they still have not updated his status. however Jonathan Brooks announced today going on IR and his status in the APP was updated almost immediately.
Do all of these great reviews not pay attention mid-games where every single week the app seems to show zero points for all players until it decides to update again. It's been all season so far and for something that should be automated, seems absolutely ridiculous to me. ESPN is still the best fantasy app in my opinion, and I've used just about all of them.

Does Sleeper - Fantasy Sports require a phone number or personal information?
Reviews indicate that account or feature access may require information some users do not want to provide. One reviewer says a phone number was required and a Google Voice number was not accepted, while another says the app asks for too much personal information for fantasy football. The reviews do not clarify which features triggered each requirement.
phone number required. voip phones not allowed. this is my primary number. I'm sick of apps requiring phone for an account and then not allowing my Google voice number. Deleted. :(
requires too much personal information for fantasy football

Can you use Sleeper - Fantasy Sports on desktop instead of the app?
The reviews suggest there is some desktop or website access, but not full parity with the mobile app. Reviewers complain that basic functions force them into the app, that the desktop experience lacks capabilities, and that a desktop version was needed as a workaround for lineup changes. If you prefer managing fantasy mostly on a computer, check the specific features your league needs before relying on it.
Cumbersome. Forces you to download the app to perform basic functions (the option simply does not exist on their website)
While I appreciate the emphasis on a mobile app, the disparity in what I can and can't do on the desktop sucks.
I have so much trouble changing. my lineup had to use a desktop version
