Is The League: Date Intelligently a scam or cash grab?
Many recent reviewers describe The League: Date Intelligently as a scam, cash grab, or predatory. The strongest complaints are that key actions are locked behind paid features, approval can stall without useful feedback, and some users question whether profiles or messages are genuine. The reviews do not prove fraud, but they do show a serious trust problem among users who mention cost, approval, and authenticity.
Absolute scam. Reporting to Google and contacting Visa for a refund. The whole app is a scam and the profiles are all fake. SCAM ALERT SCAM ALERT SCAM ALERT
The League seems like a massive cash grab. To unlock all features is $1000/week. To adjust your profile is $40/week. To see who matches with you is a DIFFERENT subscription around $50/week. Dont want your actual company name scraped from LinkedIn to show up on your profile viewable by a bunch of strangers? Pay up. The app actively restricts you from seeing people who may be interested in you. This all feels like a very predatory model and I will never recommend this app to anyone.
scam. the app generates fake messages to monetize. I get that they need revenue but lying to users is not an ok way to do it.

Does The League: Date Intelligently work, or is it too buggy?
Recent reviews repeatedly report serious reliability problems. Users describe frozen screens, failed phone verification, broken login codes, blank screens, chat glitches, failed data loading, and profile fields that do not save. A prospective user should expect that the Android app may not work smoothly for everyone.
In theory, this is a great app and service. However, it doesn't seem to work properly, I set up my profile and when I hit view, it was mostly empty, which doesn't help getting approved. No matter how much I have or don't have, my profile complete percentage stays at the same value. Way too buggy for me to recommend.
Higher quality matches, but getting "Failed to fetch data" on current version 1.260728.0, so can't use or chat in app.
I can't get past the second screen that say to enable notifications. No way to click on anything. I enabled in settings and screen still comes up and won't let me pass so I guess I have to delete the app

Why does The League: Date Intelligently say my profile is incomplete?
A common recent complaint is that users fill out their profile but the app still marks it as incomplete, often blocking approval. Reviewers mention profile completion getting stuck, prompts not saving, photos and LinkedIn being added without progress, and support not resolving the issue. Based on these reviews, this appears to be a product or verification bug rather than simply users skipping fields.
Date Intelligently"...but maybe fix the app first. My profile has been stuck at 46% completion, prompts won't save, and the app flagged my profile as incomplete because of what appears to be a bug. Other recent reviews describe the exact same issue.
couldn't use it. despite filling out my profile 100%(I left no question unanswered, even included 6 pictures, linked to my LinkedIn) and even emailing their support, I am not able to be verified. it also claims I am only 46% complete and to keep filing out the application where I've already answered the questions. this feels more like a pyramid scheme to recruit people for data harvesting rather than an intentional dating app cause they clearly pulled my info from LinkedIn.
non start. received an "invite" filled out the profile in full. 6 photos, every field and option completed, profile progress showed 46%. received an email saying I needed to complete the profile for it to be accepted but everything that coils be done was at 100%. Don't waste your time.

How long does approval take on The League: Date Intelligently?
The reviews do not give a reliable approval timeline. Several users say they waited with no clear status, no response, or no indication whether they were rejected or still on the waitlist. One reviewer says the app suggested paying for a “golden ticket” to get off the waitlist. If fast access matters, the recent review pattern is a warning sign.
wait for months for nothing, no updates on the status in the queue etc. waste of time, maybe get higher standards for your developers
About 7 months later after this review and I STILL have gotten no feedback. Whomever's job it is to be reviewing applications should be FIRED! Absolutely no feedback about whether I'm on the wait list or I've been rejected, I signed up 2 and a half months ago.
ive had the app for over a month. im still on a waitlist. then the concierge tells me that if I want to get off the waitlist I can always pay for a "golden ticket" so far this has just been a waste of time. might as well go back to tinder.

Can you use The League: Date Intelligently for free?
The app description says The League can be used for free or upgraded with subscriptions, but recent reviewers often say the free experience is very restricted. Complaints mention paying to adjust preferences, see matches, open conversations, or get basic functionality. Reviewers who mention the paywall generally describe the app as expensive and “pay to play.”
The most confusing and overpriced dating app. You have to pay for basically every action you take or any person you match with. The ads are non-stop and they make it super difficult to end your membership. I'm not even convinced the profiles are real. Definitely a let down.
garbage concept. a selection of 5 people to like or not per day. They would also get 5 likes per day. so chances of actually matching unless you pay (an obscene amount) is very slim. probably one of the most predatory dating apps in terms of profiting off the dating pool. nah
They let anyone in i guess, the men are not better here than hinge. So many dont even fill out their profile and a good amount of JOBLESS bums too. The app is very much pay to play and if you dont subscribe you will not see any of the matches you get.

Are The League: Date Intelligently matches actually high quality?
Reviews are mixed, but the negative comments are stronger and more detailed. Some users say matches are not better than other dating apps, do not meet the app’s selective promise, or do not match stated preferences. A few reviewers do report higher quality matches or interested parties, so the experience may depend heavily on location, expectations, and access to paid features.
Men on the app are not good quality. Several are out of shape and/or not high income earners. Not the "highly selective" pool one would expect from the app. There are also several bugs/glitches and you must pay excessively for additional features / privileges.
matches do not live up to the mission of the app
Well, it's only been a couple of days since I completed my profile, and there have been more than 20 interested parties, which I would say is pretty great. Just no matches yet. No one's fault guess i'm considered super picky lol. But as far as app usability and features, it's pretty cool. So far would love if it was a little less pricey, but I am willing to invest in creating great partnership

Does The League: Date Intelligently have enough local users?
Some reviewers say the user base feels small outside major markets, with suggested profiles far away or outside preferences. The app’s curated Batch model may feel especially limiting if there are few active users nearby. One reviewer guessed it may work better in very large cities, but that is only their experience, not a verified coverage claim.
nice app - just not many users in my area. the app kept providing users who were more than 4 hours away because St Louis sucks
Just like other apps but wildly more limited- the women you will find here are pretty much the same ones as on Tinder or Hinge, but you can only see three a day, and the user base is so small that they might be a hundred miles away. Maybe it works in NYC or something, but it's a waste of time and money if you aren't in a city of millions
This isn't any different than the other dating apps. I do like that it throttles matches it makes you more thoughtful how do you match with. But most of my matches didn't respond, and I ended up expiring them. Also, they arefrom1-2 states away so they must have very few profiles in my demographic area.

Does The League: Date Intelligently require LinkedIn or show my workplace?
LinkedIn and work information are major concerns in recent reviews. Some users object to LinkedIn verification, some report getting stuck during LinkedIn-related onboarding, and one reviewer deleted the account after realizing workplace information could be shown to potential matches and could not be edited out. If workplace privacy is important, read the app’s privacy policy and check what profile fields are visible before continuing.
I think it's bs that I have to use LinkedIn to verify when I've already been verified on tinder which sent me the link. Just another dating app but for higher end clients I guess can afford paying premium . I haven't had a LinkedIn profile in ages and not about to start that again. All the apps are starting to get old. wish there was actual free apps that people could find love or start a conversation. God knows we're gonna pay for it sooner or later.
I immediately deleted my account when I realised that by linking my LinkedIn account it would show potential patches where I worked. This is extremely concerning and I could not edit that information out. I have no issues on the job title but not my work for privacy reasons.
heyy team i just logging in, synched it with my LinkedIn,it says your profession and says to tap on the eye icon, there is no eye icon on the screen nor i am going forward

Is The League: Date Intelligently hard to cancel or get refunded?
The Play Store description says subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off before the renewal period, and that subscriptions can be managed in account settings after purchase. Recent reviewers still complain about refund refusals, difficulty ending membership, and wanting a straightforward unsubscribe path. If you subscribe, manage renewal through your Google account promptly and keep records of any support contact.
Impossible to use, and no users. The interface is confusing. Every interaction is behind a paywall even if you pay hundreds of dollars for the premium subscription. There are hardly any active users and this is coming from a man who gets hundreds of likes on other apps. Customer Service will refuse to refund if you're unhappy with the experience even if you paid for the $300 or $1,000 package. Truly a malicious upselling promise that they can't keep, but they will surely keep your money
Do not sign up for this app. Don't even click on any of their ads. I accidentally clicked on an ad on hinge and it automatically signed me up. then I thought I might as well give it a try until I found out that it charged me $435 that I agreed to when I "signed up". and now they told me that they can't refund me any money because I violated their terms of service probably because I looked at the app before I realized it charged me the money. don't even click!
I’m not happy with this app. The year is finally almost over, and I’m simply looking for a straightforward way to unsubscribe.

Does The League: Date Intelligently send notifications and support conversations reliably?
Some reviewers say conversations and notifications are unreliable. Complaints include people not getting notifications, chats hiding part of the conversation, and the app failing to load data so users cannot chat. For a dating app built around limited daily matches, these issues can make the experience feel much worse.
Big claims Small app. This daying app is definitely not worth a single penny. Don't install it. I was on it for days on repeat. UI sucks. People aren't getting notifications. Can't hold a single good conversation here cuz most people never show up because of such a bad UI. if they are online, Idk cuz league never notified. There are still creepy men out here
nobody in customer service responds, the guys on the daily list don't match my stated preferences, the app glitches when you have a conversation with anyone and hides half of the chat
Higher quality matches, but getting "Failed to fetch data" on current version 1.260728.0, so can't use or chat in app.
