Kroger app just keeps getting worse. Since the app changed several months ago, it often doesn't recognize me when I try to sign in. Needless to say, this affects me shopping there. I now do most of my shopping elsewhere (WalMart, Meijer, and others). Just tried to sign in again. "Technical difficulties". I'm just over this.

Mine will not log in. I've uninstalled and reinstalled and it continues to say cannot complete the authorization process because there is no interactive call in progress? I'd love to be able to change my review. I miss being able to open my app and use it. PLEASE HELP.

Gets worse with every update. Now you cannot open the Save section without the app crashing. It is so slow it's practically not usable. The quantity messes up frequently. Adding and deleting from cart frequently causes issues. Very disappointed with this app, now. I used to love it.

Frequent, forced updates that take forever and also sign you out. It's more trouble to keep this app working than just driving to the store.

Latest update caused my OnePlus 13R to lockup with a black screen for three minutes. I couldn't even get it to respond to holding the power button to restart during that time. This is the first time my phone has ever hung or locked up in any situation.

I've had problems with digital coupons not showing up, they got that fixed. But now you can't search for coupons. This just keeps getting worse. I don't want to have to scroll through 400 plus coupons to see if there is a coupon or not. 7.31.26 update. still can't search coupons, even ones I can see in the list. Go somewhere else to save money.

Since new update, can no longer sort my digital coupons from oldest to newest. You had fixed the sorting of the digital coupons but now with this latest update I'm back to not being able to sort my digital coupons from oldest to newest again.

So I'm right in the middle of my shopping list and clipping coupons and the box pops up and says there's a login issue and that I need to re login. Now I've lost my place and have to start all over again. will you please add a feature to show other Kroger stores when checking stock of a product? Also can we please do something about search? I will give you an example. I search for Jeni's ice cream. it brings up like 200 results of which only three are actually Jeni's and then tons other brands

Search is terrible due to sponsored results. Ads.when checking in for pickup. Trash company, trash app.

While searching, the app now gives two sponsored ads/selections over what I searched for. I just want my groceries. to make it even more dumb, the sponsored item (that isn't what I wanted) is also often out of stock so I couldn't add it to my cart even if I wanted to. the app is getting so frustrating it's not worth using at this point.

Useless. Every time I submit prescription refills I get a message that the prescription has been submitted. When I check later, it says no prescription has been submitted. I then have to navigate the phone system to speak directly to the Pharmacy.

ETA -7/2026 The pharmacy side of the app is worse than the retail side. There's always issues logging in and being kicked out. The app never lists the correct info for refill dates and the pharmacy staff either can't or won't let customers know why they're canceling prescriptions. There have even been times where the wrong prescription was filled or unable to refill a prescription that is eligible. This app is very glitchy and I'm no longer confident that my medical info is actually secure.

App either takes forever to load or doesn't load at all. Nearly every time I put in for a prescription refill, it simply disappears and doesn't get refilled. I've tried several times to make my refills get filled at a store closer to me, and when I complete the purchase, it says it's being refilled at the old store. I'm considering using Amazon instead.

Beware. theyll charge you twice for your order. Not like Walmart, who'll put a temporary hold for a few dollars more, just in case. They literally take the amount of your order out twice. Even after you receive your order and they take the correct amount, they'll keep ahold of that extra money for 3-5 business days .. No way to email corporate or anything. You just have to accept that they're keeping your money for a few days even though the order has already been fulfilled and theyve been paid

I reviewed last October to say this is the glitchiest app. got a response saying to delete the app and redownload and that made it slightly less glitchy for less than a day. it's gotten even worse over the months since then. infuriatingly puts things back in my cart after I remove them. I have had to remove the same item 6+ times. on several occasions. sometimes it re adds them just at checkout and charges me for something I had removed from the cart. so not only glitchy but forcing sales. 0/5

App recently was updated and has been unreliable ever since. Now it always wants to, "start a list," which is so pointless. Just let me start an order and pick which method of service I want, how it used to work. Also, if you try to add items after you've placed your order, it can bug out and replace your ENTIRE order with just the additional items. Thankfully they refunded us for the rest of the order they didn't deliver, but what kind of design is this? Clearly they need more QA testing.

Love shopping at Kroger, drop off orders always knocks and or rings the door bell. Walmart doesn't do either one, I have walked outside and found my groceries spilled from my apartment door all the way into the grass at least 10 ft away, and it was delivered nearly 4 hours early. So if I hadn't had to walk outside it would have been out there for hours. I will never order drop off food from Walmart again.

Poor UI choices and sizing on mobile aside, I'm sick of making grocery selections based on "available items" only to later watch literally 1/3 of my order change. I chose a specific delivery that showed my most desired item available, paid extra, and then had the item (but not the extra fees) refunded. Support did nothing.

It's definitely easy to use and everything you should be, but now it's not letting me use EBT card. I checked other apps, like Walmart, for example, and it works perfectly fine there. But Kroger is the only one it's not working for. I can still use it in store, but with my work schedule it's easier to do pickup. Please get this fixed.

edit: back one star. I'll improve my rating when the app shows my Kroger Plus card as scannable as soon as the app opens without having to login and find it. And also please keep it on the main page after I log in. Consider the user, trying to check out at the self pay register and the Wi-Fi is bad and playing with the app while people are waiting in line fingerprint scanning, waiting on Internet, then trying to remember where the Kroger card is found.

It used to be good, but over time it has become more confusing and now, my favorite feature, Kroger Pay is no longer available. Still like Kroger, but the app needs a lot of work to get it back to what it once was.

Plus card and Kroger Pay should be easily accessible from home screen not buried in the side menu. Also the formatting on Kroger Pay makes it where you can't click on change card at the bottom right because it is behind the back button on Samsung Galaxies.

The points system is only there to taunt you about the savings you think you have. For months I've been stopping by the customer service desk and calling the support line only for them to tell me different things. My phone number is linked to my account on the app but doesn't work at the gas pump. I tried to redeem points on the app and they don't apply to the next purchase, even using the app to bypass the gas pump I still can't apply any fuel points to get discounts. I only watch points expire

usually, I shop here on Fridays for the 4x fuel points, but the last 4 weeks it said 4x fuel points for boost members. this last week I actually opened the coupon on it and realized it said 4x fuel points boost members 5x fuel points. would have helped if I would have seen that earlier because I didn't shop here for about 4 weeks. also, whoever got rid of the scrolling bar on the coupons deserves to be fired. I lose my place because I have to close the app. then I have to find my place again

Weekly Ad constantly doesn't work. Still an issue every other update.

weekly ads no longer load on my android phone for past couple weeks. only weekly digital deals load. this is where I have always started my shopping each week. it's not worth the effort of using the "print" ad so it certainly hinders my shopping at Kroger. you're in the process of losing a customer since someone somehow messed up the app.

9/1/26 update: I have no idea what you've done with the app this time. Before I could see next week's weekly ad. Now it doesn't work. It simply shows the current ad again(in print). If I go to the other view I can see MOST of it, but not the weekly digital coupons. Please fix this issue. I already Uninstalled and reinstalled and the same issue happens.

not only is this app spyware, it lies to you about the unit cost of almost every single item. check it out yourself: compare the price/pound that it tells you versus what you can compute and you can see how it lies. it also sells your information to third parties. and it still hasn't fixed the duplicate order problem where it sends you the same order twice without giving you a chance to fix the problem. also the search function is totally messed up, directing you to stuff that it wants you buy.
