A user who I met on Grindr has been continuously harassing me. We went on one date and I told him I did not want to see him again. I've blocked him and I've reported him multiple times, but he keeps creating new profiles and searches for me. He has threatened me before and now he is threatening me on Grindr. I have screenshots of each time he threatened me. I know this review is not app related, but I keep reporting him and I think he will act on his threats. I will contact the police also.

very disappointed. very difficult to navigate the site in a way that you can learn how to get results you need or are looking for. the site loses connection and doesn't reset unless you turn it off and back on. Most of the people who are trying to hook up are not close enough to even consider it an option for themselves to commute due to the distance alone and high gas prices. the app is so full of scammers and criminal elements trying to gather personal information to scam people out of money

Terribly designed app. Zero stars should be an option! Ads are obnoxious, intrusive, full screen and disrupt any audio playback. More often than not, you'll have to wait and see three ads just to access messages. Tapping the X to clear the ad usually results in an ad click and opens the app store or ad site - not cool. I understand ads keep Grindr "free" but many other apps manage without such disruptive, intrusive and obnoxious ads...

You can report this app for allowing advertisements that bypass Google policies, such as the ridiculous door dash ads that pop up as full-screen and force you to visit a page that many adblockers consider malware. On average, the first minute of use in this app is spent closing three to four ads, attempting to close the worced website link that automatically opens your browser, and then closing ads that pop up while you text. At that point it's rare to even have the motivation to use the app

We all know the only reason this app is still in business is because there is no other alternative with this many fellow gay men on it. And they know it too. There are so many ads now that if you aren't using an ad blocker, the app is literally unusable. Load the app get 1-3 ads, press any button whatsoever, 1-3 ads, send a message or receive one get 1-3 ads. It's not uncommon to see 6-12 ads just for loading the app and sending a message, that's it.

9 out of 10 people in the grid is a spam bot, you can tell cuz it's all Asian girls with profile pictures that day 1 day authentic grindr photo and they all have a X link to some more spam or they are super hot guys with the same X link to more spam accounts, don't pay for premium your getting the same quality of service, except your just paying for it.

Mostly fake scammer profiles trying to steal your identity. the app constantly glitches. Whenever they fix a glitch, it is replaced by another. Plus they have been chiseling away at free features to try and get you to pay for their premium level tiers. Not cool and definitely not worth the price of upgrading, and the free app isn't worth the price of constantly fighting scammers

update for my update: still trash. uninstalling. absolute waste of time. unable to refresh or download new messages constantly. BUT EVERY AD PLAYS JUST FINE. update: sure can feed me ad after ad with no interruption and no lag, but can't update my grid without turning wifi on and off, restarting the app, and turning my self upside down. absolute trash. money grab garbage

lots of bugs, lots of ads, cant refresh, cant reply to messages, cant comunicate, almost NEVER being able to refresh. fix your bugs!

I pay £29.99 a month on repeat subscription for Grindr Unlimited. BUT it is not working AGAIN. I have used the restore purchase feature and it says no subscription found but when I click the subscription like it immediately shows its taken my money without giving me what I paid for. I uninstall and reinstall from play store AS THE SUBSCRIPTION user. and the tried the restore purchase option. but still it asks me to purchase unlimited again. the developers/testers are useless. it keeps happening

Absolute disgrace. This is the glitchiest app on my phone. Constant errors, slow, unresponsive. All that despite having premium.

the no nonsense sex I like the ease of the operation system. I like you can block the creeps and go incognito. I like the privacy and security. without this app I would be making the friend and acquatances ive made. Great app. I have no regrets

I got a last chance warning for promoting or glorifying drug use, with no explanation why, perhaps because my profile text says "no hnh" ?

I was banned with no reason and when I tried to appeal my ban it didn't allow me to submit my ban appeal in their website. I sent multiple e-mails asking on how to appeal or if there was another process to manually review my account and got an automated AI message that I needed to submit my appeal through their page and when I explained that the page didn't allow me to log in to submit I got 0 response. I'm banned and with no options.

long time xtra subscriber, this is the 3rd time the same thing happens: payment didnt go through on the day it was supposed to (credit card issue), the next day my account was banned for bullying. No prior notice, no proof of the alleged bullying. Payment went through the next day, suddenly the ban was a 24hr one, with a timer counting down. Time for a new app.

update, it's gotten even worse. everything is harder to navigate. . unfortunately I keep re-downloading hoping for improvement. no such luck Recent update has the grid all out of wack. It's showing people hundreds of miles away like they are next door. Too many fake profiles On going updates have really degraded the app. Wish I could score less then 1 star im noticing most of the replies from grindr refer us to grindr/ me. 🤔

couldn't determine location thus unusable .. not a single profile came up. except adverts telling me I'd see everything if I paid. obviously if you cannot see anything before payment it's unlikely you will pay

I pay for this app and it still works terrible. Bugs all the time, filters never update, locations never update, messages don't send. It's not worth having anymore, do not get this app.

Would give Negative Stars if could! Grindr Response: "Ask Support" Which does NOTHING! Every Update (Almost Daily) makes it SO MUCH WORSE! WHOLE APP BARELY EVER WORKS!! Other Apps Charge 4 everything too; BUT THEY ACTUALLY DO WORK! I cant imagine how horrible "Free" users experience is! Dozen better apps out there! Kick Rocks!

absolute garbage. the free version sucks and the paid version doesn't deliver at all either. it's full of Spam ads and takes forever to load. seems all the users are useless too, sending NSFW photos before even saying hello. Or they get mad and ignorant when you won't send one back. you can report them all you want but the app never updates you on the status, there seems to be NO moderators at all.

Pretty good if you like everything to be hidden behind a paywall or sketchy, repetitive ads. The sad thing is that while grindr totally sucks, every other app is so awful that this is probably the best option.

whoever is making the decisions for this app needs to be fired. you can only see the first 2 ppl you message and everything else is behind a pay wall

The Fact that it's not completely Free is why I give it 3 stars, this app has a lot of ads which makes it difficult to have conversation by having to wait for the ad to disappear, not to mention, it takes up a lot of time and data, which costs money from losing every minute of every hour. I am not just speaking for myself, I am speaking out for the people residing in Guam or The Northern Mariana Islands. The majority of mobile plans are prepaid, contracts are usually people getting a new phone.
