Is Copper: Earn Cash Rewards a scam?
Many recent reviewers describe Copper: Earn Cash Rewards as a scam, mainly because the advertised signup reward did not appear, cashouts were delayed or blocked, and support was hard to reach. A few reviewers do report successful payouts, so the reviews do not prove every user is unpaid, but they raise serious trust concerns before installing.
if no stars were an option.... this app is a scam. doesn't pay and support staff are nonexistent. don't waste your time

Does Copper: Earn Cash Rewards pay real money?
The reviews are mixed. Some users say they eventually received a PayPal or cashout reward, but many others say payouts stayed pending, thresholds changed, or promised rewards never arrived. Based on these reviews, Copper may pay some users, but prospective users should not expect fast or reliable payment.
The app itself is great, the games are very fun and easy. the only thing bad I have to say is it took 6 days to get my payout for PayPal. when it said on the copper app 2-3 days. that's why I gave it 3 stars.

Is Copper: Earn Cash Rewards legit?
Copper: Earn Cash Rewards does not look consistently reliable in recent reviews. There are real users saying they received a cashout, but many more recent comments complain about missing rewards, changing cashout rules, receipt limits, account locks, and weak support. It is better described as disputed and high-risk than clearly legit.
This application is buggy and a little frustrating to use. Scanning receipts is a nightmare. Rife with "Changing of the 'goal posts' " to accomplish tasks. However, it pays reliably. I'll wait for upgrades and improvement. Slow and sluggish to load. This is not an enjoyable application. You need to set aside time to anything within it.

Does Copper: Earn Cash Rewards really give the advertised signup bonus?
Recent reviews strongly suggest the advertised signup bonus is a common pain point. Users say they installed a qualifying game but the reward did not show up, the offer was missing or unavailable, or they were told they had an old or duplicate account. The reviews do not support relying on the bonus being automatic.
SCAM!!I downloaded the app & downloaded a game to get the $10, because of an ad. Also, noticed that the offer was not in the app, when I signed up. I emailed that the $10 was not received. Support said that my account was opened in 2025. I just downloaded it 2 days ago. UNINSTALLED immediately.

Why does Copper: Earn Cash Rewards limit receipt scanning?
Many reviewers say Copper changed receipt scanning so that users can only upload a small number of receipts unless they level up by playing games or doing other tasks. This is especially frustrating for people who installed Copper mainly as a receipt-rewards app rather than a game-offer app.
I was ok with simply uploading receipts and maybe the occasional games. Now they've got this tier system in place. The amount of receipts you can upload is super limited per week. Now, in order to be able to upload more receipts, you have to download game after game in order to reach the next tier. Also, the point needed to cash out went from 1000 to 1400 to 3000. This app is no longer worth the effort.

Why is it hard to cash out in Copper: Earn Cash Rewards?
Reviewers say Copper has made cashing out harder by raising point requirements, changing the minimum redemption level, requiring game activity, and leaving withdrawals pending. Some users say they planned to uninstall after reaching a cashout because the reward goal kept moving.
Been a member since May 2025. Used to like the app. I didn't play games, but was OK with just scanning receipts and playing the long game. Even when redemption costs went from 1000 to 1400, still didn't mind. This new update though? Total trash. 3000 points to redeem? I can only scan a couple receipts unless I increase tiers by playing games? I have to get to the top tier to get $10 gift cards (which are the minimum)? Absolutely not. If this is how Copper is gonna be, I'll be uninstalling soon.

Why does Copper: Earn Cash Rewards lock accounts or say activity does not meet guidelines?
Several reviewers report being locked out or flagged for vague guideline violations, sometimes immediately after signing up or before using the app. They also say Copper does not clearly explain what rule was broken, which makes account problems hard to resolve.
I used this app for a fairly long time. Then, I log in and it says there has been action on my account that apparently doesn't meet their standards! I try to find out what I apparently did wrong but it will not tell me. it just says to read their agreement. No hint or anything and, their "chatbot" is useless. there is no easy way to find out any type of information. I would not recommend this app to ANYONE! Customer service is non-existent.

Does Copper: Earn Cash Rewards have good customer support?
The reviews do not paint a good picture of Copper support. Users describe support as nonexistent, useless, or difficult to access, especially when they ask about missing rewards, account flags, or receipt and payout issues.
Click on the support and get nothing. I usually have quite a few receipts and it will only let me scan I think 5 a week! I use another app and I can scan as many as I have and get more points and faster rewards. 1000 points for only $10 is very low. I can get $5 for scanning 200 receipts on another app it would take me over a year on Copper with being able to scan 5 a week. Once I hit my $10 I'm done.

Why won’t Copper: Earn Cash Rewards send the verification code or let me sign up?
Some users report being unable to register because the phone verification text never arrives, their number is treated as already associated with another account, or the app flags their account details incorrectly. If signup fails, the reviews suggest there may not be an easy workaround through support.
Terrible. I couldn't even register to create an account because the app never sent the text message with the verification code. Smdh. I wish I could give this a 0 star rating but that's not an option.🤦🏼

Does Copper: Earn Cash Rewards have enough game offers?
Recent reviews often complain that Copper shows only one game, that the required game offer is unavailable, or that downloads fail before users can unlock the rest of the app. For users expecting many easy game options, the review sample is discouraging.
I downloaded the app and went to play, but it only offered one game. One. And when I tried to download said game, it kept saying 'offer not available, but never gave me a single other option.
