Privacy Policy — PermitFair DMV Prep

PermitFair DMV Prep ("the app") is a DMV permit study app. This policy describes what data the
app collects and how it is used.

No account required
The app does not require you to create an account or sign in. There is no username, password,
or personal profile of any kind.

Data collected
The app does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. All study content (state
selection, lesson progress, quiz attempts and answers, and purchase entitlement status) is
stored only in a local database on your device and is never sent to any server operated by the
app's developer.

Google Play Billing
If you choose to buy the optional one-time lifetime unlock, the purchase is processed entirely
by Google Play Billing. The app receives a purchase confirmation from Google Play and stores a
local record that the lifetime unlock is owned, plus a one-way hash of the purchase token for
duplicate-purchase checks. The app does not receive or store your payment details — those are
handled directly by Google Play under Google's own privacy policy.

Content sources
Lesson and quiz content is drawn from public state DMV handbooks. Loading this content does not
require or use a network connection; it is bundled with the app itself.

Children's privacy
The app does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children, because
it does not collect personal information from any user.

Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at the same URL.
